"I shot my first 3D movie in March 2010 using two Canon T2i cameras on a parallel 3D rig. Editing and rendering the footage was incredibly difficult; I used Sony Vegas to edit each view independently and Stereo Moviemaker to adjust the 3D effect. Finally, I was able to master a 3D Blu-ray using a beta version of NetBlender's DoStudio, ..."

I have a TD10 of Sony, looked at that you edited the video and you want to know as I can edit, better you will be yourself in premiere pro 5,5 the program that I have and I know to use. in which you edit?
I got a hdr-td 10 too, I used my cam to upload the 3d video to you-tube. It's worked, then I typed "yted:enable=true" in Tags. The video show "3D" mark after it. But the picture is separated very far away. So my 3D video is failed. Could you teach me how should I upload my hdr-td 10 . thanks.
@alexckming 3D tags have changed recently, try yt3d:enable=LR for sbs half with left view on the left or just google for "new 3d youtube tags". Good luck
I do have the hdr-td10 but I really would like to watch my videos on a 3d tv without the camcorder linked with the hdmi cable.
I tried to use mvc to avi converter software but my so-called mvc videos are recognised as M2ts and the software refuses categorically to start editing that kind of files. And i really don't know what to do with sony vegas pro 10.0d (trial version). I converted the files using different settings but that does not get me anywhere. (sorry for my poor English)
@halcyon2002 In Vegas 10.0d you should be able to just import the m2ts (MVC encoded) clips to a stereoscopic project. sonycreativesoftware dotcom does free webinars and 3d workflow is one of them, check their site
Hallo, I have one sony TD10 , and I can't record in 3D by a blu ray disc? so, what I have to do to see my
movies in 3D without camera? I read technical manual and I understand that I can copy 3D in one extrern hard disk and I can't play to TV. please explain me what I have to do???
@DDDstereo@kmd76kmd76To be honest, I do like both, but the fact that you can't edit JVC's MVC MP4's is a big factor, and on the other hand, the wider 34.8mm SOny compared to 42mm JVC is another one that might make me lean more to Sony... I will write a more detailed post about the two soon.
@iwatch3d tryed to edit with 10.0d for my jvc but the soft shutdown everytime... it's incredible that its possible to sell a camcorder and not be able to edit the videos produce with...

Can you edit the video from the Sony HDR-TD10 for anaglyph as well as for use on true 3D TV's?

great thanks, how did you like the td10 compared to the jvc 3d camcorder?
kmd76kmd76 9 months ago
I edited it in Vegas Pro 10.0d with support for MVC encoded clips, which at the moment is the only software that let's you do it,as far as I'm aware.
