In the early seventies the "Beckett Actor" Jackie MacGowran was filmed doing this. It was shown on PBS, but I can't find it anywhere. There is a CD available of him reading Beckett which includes this.
I made this video mainly because I've been drawn to this passage for years and had a vivid sense of the stone sequence. Zach and I have worked together for years, and a number of times specifically using Beckett text (Endgame and Watt), but usually with Zach performing. This time around, We both thought that I had a better feel for the role.
Our sea is the East River in Brooklyn, NY--down by the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges.

Jeff Fantastic. We are using your video in our class. Your face is great for this role.
You don't look like Beckett but you look like sixteen stones being rotated and perfect for the part. Tell us why you made this video?
We are going to make some other versions of this passage and post them here. Then the world can have more videos of this passage.
Is your sea really the seashore or is it a lake? I think it is a lake. Or Long Island Sound? Where are you? Chicago?
