  • Awsome AWESOME tone!!! Thanks for posting!!

  • I used to own the Alex....and that was amazing....dont know why I ever sold it

  • Thanks for the post! I found a mint K & M jade online and grabbed it....because of this video. They only made 25 total production and i have #22. Its everything this video shows and more. Also have the Lexicon mx200.

  • @idbrn4u Congrats! We are in a small select group. Be careful with the mx200 it is very fragile and prone to breaking. Mine was unrepairable. I'm using an old Lexicon PCM 80 now. It is built like a tank and sounds even better. This is still my work amp. I bought a nice anvil case for it and would need hospitalization if it were ever stolen.

  • @2rockjade So i bought the mx200, along with the lexicon DFS footswitch but i cant figure out how to use the switch to surf my channel presets all it does is bypass... do any of you guys kno what the problem may be?

  • @fastercuda ...Seymour Duncans wired to push pull pots for coil splitting. Sweet Switch is now a 3pos pup selector.

  • Great demo ... I did not know that Two Rock had been Jade ... are the Jades also like the Dumbles? Great tone. Have the following Lexicons Alex (after seeing Jeff Beck play through one), Vortex (still figuring it out), MPX G2 & R1& 1 & Signature 284 (lucky finds at GC but not without seller BS), and Prime Time. Even the Hardwire pedal has great Lexicon verbs. Thanks again!

  • @danceofthedruids Thanks, The Jade is inspired by Dumble tones and is also capable of much more compressed/overdrive because of the 3 gain stages. The eq section(s) are unmatched by any amp I have seen. Blackface Fender cleans, Dumble medium gain tones and Marshall high gain tones. I am hoping to post another vid soon featuring a PRS Singlecut which is a Les Paul clone with the Jade and a Lexicon PCM 80.

  • @2rockjade Cool ... thanks!

  • Sounds great. Though, it would be nice to see what the settings are that you've dialed into each effect.

  • u are real good dude... i like ur sound.....thanks for the video...

  • This is an after post on the MX200, which broke apparently by just using it normally. I looked at selector switch assembly and found it to be an amazing design of extremely fragile, low quality parts and architecture. My advice would be to buy a much better designed unit like a Lexicon PCM or an older Mrx, Alex or LXP model.

  • thanks 4 the answer.............

keep on rockin in the 3 world

  • is this good for my bloody valentine sound or that kind of alt-rock??

  • Thanks for opening me up to a kick azz band. I just saw a few of their videos to try to answer your question. Very cool. After owning the mx200 for a month it suddenly stopped working. I have since upgraded to a lexicon pcm 80 which is vastly improved. i would stick to the older lexicon models like Alex or mpx or lx. They were assembled better. If you can afford a pcm, buy it. MBV sounds like they use a high end $ multi fx. (maybe pcm?).

  • I would like to know if the mx200 has a lot of "dead time" when switching patches on the fly.

  • I am currently not using the midi in/out or the footswitch.

  • can I run 2 seperate effects for 2 seperate inputs .. like live solo performance. One effect on guitar and one effect for vocals?

  • Yes.

  • Are you able to use Flanger+Phaser etc together or does it have to be a reverb/delay + effect?

  • You can use any 2 effects together. You can set up two flanges together with different sweep rates and depths if you choose.

  • Any chance you can share a video and let us know the exact setting on the MX200 for a really good Eddie Van Halen sound please? I am thinking of purchasing this Lexicon. (Based on your demo).

  • I really don't know an exact setting for EVH. From what I can determine (by my ears) he has used several different delay and reverb efx over the years. He has changed the settings and delay times reverb types and intesities. I am sure his sound and preferences have evolved, devolved and changed over time like everyone else's.

  • Thanks. Would you consider doing another demo with a different guitar. Do you own a tele or a strat? Also, would like to see you play when you do it. You're a great player.

    Thanks again

  • I have a Strat, Zion and Carvin neck thru that I will eventually post with this rig. Thanks for the nice comments.

  • Hi,

Thanks for the demo on the Jade. I'm the guy that bought the combo for $1700. I'll be getting it on Monday. I can't wait!

    Thanks again. Great stuff.
