I have followe the advice of this vid to the letter, I am still not winning jousts - nothing works at all - to say that it is easy to do this, well I have to disagree there - I have practiced and practiced and the most I have achieved is to get the opponent's health to half - sorry but this isn't working for me

the way i do it is when i start the fight i wait till he runs into the middle then i charge him then swing round with a shieldbreaker then thrust him till he gets his shield back then i just either let him get some distance on me and do it again while keeping my shield up 3 at all times or i turn round and give him another charge then shield breaker

Try using your mouse to move, right and left click and you should move straight while moving your camera, and bash those keys.

I was doing it completely differently and it took appro 1 minute per fight and I had to constantly heal. I'm gonna try this method today. :D

For those who are having a little trouble getting distance, sometimes it may be best to not bother with charge at all. Just keep going back and forth alternating between Shieldbreakers and melee strikes (and ofcourse remembering to refresh shields). The npc won't be able to keep up with the barrage of Shieldbreakers and would for be eating melee strikes defenseless throughout most of the fight.

My rotation is...

1. Start Fight

2. Melee hit when ther erunning to the middle

3. Shield breaker ( still running away )

4. Charge+Melee as you hit them

5. Wide turn+shield breaker

6.Melee

7. They run, shield breaker+charge

8. Repeat 5-8

I am planning on rolling a hunter, and I want to make a Night Elf, but they've acquired a reputation for having a lot of "Noobs" play them.

Well, do you sometimes wish you rolled a Dwarf instead of a Night Elf?

Night Elfs do get a lot of flack for being noobs, but if I was to make another hunter, I'd still make a night elf because shadowmeld is just too good to pass up!

Ah, I wanted to play a NE because of Shadowmeld. For when I go AFK in a place where I can easily aggro mobs. And I guess I can look past the noob reputation, if your good, people will know I guess.

stasticly Night Elf are best PvE hunters Dwarfs are best PvP hunters but if u want a rly imba hunter shud go for a troll they are VERY good all rounded at PvP and PvE

I have a dwarf hunter as my main. The only good thing from the dwarves that relate to hunters are their increased gun skill. Which would allow you to hit more frequently. Shadowmeld is probably the best racial spell or whatever you would call it. It all depends on what you would rather play. There really isnt any "Best" race. I just think NE's are over populated so I picked a dwarf.
