This was celebrated in the San Martin barrio, fireworks is a great tradition in Huixtac this time of the year. According to the Roman Cathelic Church Jesus Christ came down from heaven to visit us on this day, so this is in honor to him in front of the Capilla. There is also fireworks in February 2nd, which is La Feria del Pueblo and according to legends and traditions Madonna Candelaria first made her appearance on this day many centuries ago originally found en El Calbario.
