I think Augie knows what he's doing, considering he coaches for a perennial powerhouse and has more wins than any other coach in NCAA baseball. Listen, this is collegiate baseball, not little league where everyone has to play an inning. I think Augie knows what he's doing, considering he coaches for a perennial powerhouse and has more wins than any other coach in NCAA baseball. Plus if you notice, he takes just as much blame as the players. I can't think of a better motivator (@greenandgold78) than not wanting to let your coach down.

What this guy is doing IS HOW IT'S DONE. It's called lighting a fire under your ass, it motivates you. You notice how they won their next 10 games and their championship after that speech? Like Keppin said, you will not understand unless you've played a competitive sport at an elite level. This is nothing compared to the flip outs of Minor League coaches. Sometimes its needed.
