  • Great videos Jeanne. I'm from North Carolina myself and I can relate to alot of the stuff you talk about! Great job.

  • Thank you for the clean comedy. Its is a fresh difference in this ugly world.

  • I love all those stories, the wit and honest humor -- life is funny enough without making stuff up!

God bless Jeanne and Left-Brain, tell it like it is! Safe travels!

  • Have you ever spoken at a university commencement?

  • @discours1637 Yes, but it's not really what I do. Usually, the speaker gets about 10 minutes which is much more difficult than an hour. :) Thanks for thinking I could. Keep laughing! Jeanne

  • It's really refreshing to hear a comedian with good clean humor for a change. You're stories make me look back on the crazy things my kids do it's a miracle they have lived this long. Reminds me of my son's obsession with ice. He always insisted on me giving him just pieces of Ice to chew on. Well this gets old when he leaves them melting on you wooden coffee table ruining it all the time. So I stopped giving it to him. However, my fridge doesn't defrost guess what he got his lips stuck to? lol

  • @SweetMa83 *giggles* I love it. That sounds like something my cousin would've done.

  • A friend sent me one of her videos on YouTube and I just kept watching. She is hilarious.

  • I am learning to do humorist /story telling public speaking in Toastmasters Int'l. Can you give to me any tips for this type of speaking?

  • @karenmitch27 Sure. Write your own material from your life experiences. Don't copy anyone. Your audiences want to hear from you. Try funny lines out on your friends. If you say somehting funny to them - and it doesn't hurt/attack others - and our buddies laugh, turn it into a piece of material. Best of luck! Keep 'em laughing! Jeanne

  • love, love love this gal. Come and eat some fried okra with me Jeanne.

  • You are so wonderful ! I am from Georgia and you remind me so much of the aunt that raised me and her brother . The same accent and the same long drawn out stories to tell one little point ! Listening to you reminds me of home. Thank you for that.

  • Saw on the website you will be in Toledo, Ohio next April.....It is the closest you'll be to the Cleveland area......see ya there....can't wait :)

  • @staycejayne I'll be there with Carl Hurley for an afternoon show. Later this month, 20 more dates will be announced for shows by myself. Info on all "ticketed events" (vs convention speeches that are closed to public on my site. Ck fb page. Thanks. J

  • Do you sell videos of your events? My family and I just LOVE YOU!!!!!!

  • @christinasbest Thanks for asking. Stories available thru itunes (audio only) and all six DC/DVDs available through my website Humor Store. Keep laughing! Jeanne

  • Do you publish your travel schedule anywhere? Can we see you outside of NC?

Please publish LB's Lugage in Hawaii on Youtube.

  • @gri5thj Thanks for your interest. All events "Open to the Public" are listed on my website. We don't list my main work - speaking at conventions -because the general public can't come. Watch for twenty more "ticketed" events listed this month. I speak all over the U.S. We have considered adding the LB/luggage story to youtube. Length is a problem. I love the story so maybe we can work it out some way. Keep laughing. Jeanne

  • @gri5thj The "Open to Public" schedule is posted on my site. We do not post my convention speech dates. Twenty more shows will be posted by the end of this month. The luggage story is a little long for posting. (One of my favoirtes too.) :) Thanks. Keep laughing! Jeanne

  • I am someone who really likes to laugh and by gum you are the woman to make me do that. I wish I had seen you live or had the opportunity to, but then again I would prpobably be asked to leave the room!

  • @mammacleod Oh, my goodness, we don't want you leaving the room. We want you there laughing! Thank you for posting and, please do keep checking my website for shows in your area. In August, we will be posting 20 new ticketed events for the coming year. Hope I'm in your area. I love "laughers." Jeanne

  • Jeanne is just fabulous!

  • I saw you a few days ago in Elizabeth City, and it was amazing.

Thanks for coming to share your talent with us and for helping out the Benjamin House!

  • This really funny...and could image it happening at our church too. Pam

  • right you are!!!

  • Amen, a female Jerry Clowers. I love it, the whole family truely enjoys it and not afraid of what's going to be said. I think it is absolutely wonderful...

  • I listen to her on XM radio all the time. She cracks me up.

  • I just adore this woman!

  • I might have to buy a satelite radio subscription just to hear more of her!

  • You are a great American!!

  • She is so funny!!!

  • HILARIOUS!!!

  • She is a classic Southern lady. Humour and beauty.

  • LOVED THIS GOOD LAUGH!!!

  • Listening to XM radio last year is when I first heard Jeanne and I've been a huge fan ever since. She makes me laugh so hard it hurts. I'm sure my neighbors think I'm crazy because I won't leave the car until the end of her skit on XM. They're probably peering out the windows saying there's that lady again sitting in the driveway laughing like a loon and there ain't another person in the car.

  • That's perfect!!! XD

  • just before she starts speaking she has a stance that most women can't strike even when conscience of it. very graceful I'd say. i guess it comes with the height.i know its a weird observation.LOL.

  • She's a former Miss North Carolina, 1963. Back in the days when ladies behaved like ladies. Probably attended "charm school."

  • Every time I hear the "Pashmina" story on Sirius, I laugh until I cry! You are high-larious!!

  • You are beautiful!!!! I love the story of left brain going to the store with your grocery list for the cake!!!! LOL!!! Keep it up! Heard you on XM!

  • FINALLY!!! I love good ole fashioned Humor! I love to listen on Sirius radio! My Fav. so far is your explanation of left brain fixin the commas on your new speech! I laughed to tears......

  • Then I bought the CD that had your rafting trip, which since my husband of 25 years like to raft, we found that to be very close to home. My husband liked the part where you said "I'm so sorry honey, I didn'y think it would be like this" and LB's reply " oh really?,It's EXACTLY like I thought it would be".

Sounds a lot like our trips, ALWAYS an ADVENTURE! I just bought ALL 5 of you DVD's and can't WAIT to get them! Love Ya, take care and God bless you and yours!

    Carol B. in Texas

  • You're a hoot and a holler!

The first time I heard you was on Xm Radio.

It was the story about you wearing the pants vs the shaw, I laughed SO hard.

  • Mrs Robertson,

My wife and I love listening to you...although (as a left brained man) I do cringe at some of your topics because when you are telling them, my wife is listening..therefore...my excuse for doing it in the future is ruined...so THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! :)

Seriously, we enjoy listening to you and we are glad you have posted on YOU TUBE.

We look forward to hearing more of your adventures and stories in the future.

  • I listen to you on XM too. My favorite story is Left Brain's shopping trip to get cake fixings.

  • I was so happy to find Jeanne had posted on a couple tales on youtube. I first heard her on XM too. One of my favorites is the 7-Up pound cake story. Hope to see more in the future.

  • Yes, I also first heard you on XM -- and left brain bringing the luggage to the hotel was hilarious. I also loved the "first class" river rafting trip with the other couple, good c lean fun :)

  • Thank you so much for posting this, Jeanne. I first heard you on XM Radio when I got it about a month ago. Since then I am always delighted when they put on one of your bits. My favorite is the story about " Left Brain " taking the luggage to the hotel in Hawaii. If you get the chance would love to see that one posted. Thanks for what you do and thanks for the fun.

  • sooooooooooooo funny !!!!!!!!
