is it a good college pls tell me frankly....and i wanted to know do they get foreign placement.

@gayasarafe : Dear, It is better than many colleges in India and good in many terms. But dont expect such things like foreign placements and all. You do get chance for foreign internship during 8th semester and your normal placement is more assured as it is over 95%. There are opportunities but not everyone utilises them. If you are ambitioous, there is a lot to explore. But there is a great rush in college as compared to govt. colleges.

@mrashishmech Is life in vit resticted? Do the students have enough freedom. For eg. Are guitars allowed in the hostel? nice video btw...

@TheAkshd : Thanks dear for appraisal of the video...Life at VIT is not so resticted (hostel in time is a restiction)... regarding guitar, there is a separate music room also. N u can play in hostel, if others are not getting disturbed :)

i was in vit though the college education system is not so good but you will learn about something in your life like decision making, working in groups...if student want to do their higher education in abroad countries this vit is the best place ...

yes, there are students from other countries also... but hardly any from US. Mostly ppl come from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Germany, Uganda, Nigeria, Rwanda, France etc. Generally people from Australia and America dont come to India for studying. You can find African, European and Asian students.

Americans don't really need to go out of their country ... we all know why. Australian students receive a lot of privileges in terms of education costs from the govt because international students there pay a very high fees to study there and hence Australian students receive the benefits. Btw do the Chinese students only mix amongst themselves and talk in Mandarin all the time? How are international students in general received in VIT, specially those from less privileged parts of the world?

facilities are there... u hav to utilize them... and of course in any college, you will get both sorrows and happiness... further everything is upto you... gud luck.
