That's not to say they're unskilled in anyway, my point was this vid is dumb for being sped up to catch the attention of unobservant ppl like you who are impressed by shiny objects that jingle when shaken. Thank you for your comments. The reason the video was sped up was mainly because we had a ton of dynamic footage to cram into less than two minutes, not to mention matching the tempo and hits of the music. The video was never intended to be real time or whatever it was you were looking for, drivingway2fast. The slot L-39 and solo MiG-17 were used to provide the perspectives. If you'd like a better video, I suggest you form your own jet team, mount a GoPro to your helmet and edit your own video.

Obviously anyone with a cursory knowledge of aircraft knows the L39 can't perform the way this vid is trying to depict them. Still some excellent formation flying. Just a stupid video.

You could probably drive "Way2fast" in your car for an entire year and it would still cost less than an a day in one of these. Not to mention maintenance and inspections. The only civilians "On par" with military sponsored aerobatic teams is Red Bull.. A multi billion dollar company. You should just say impressive and leave it at that.. Of course it's sped up, but it makes the video more interesting.

Too bad that the clip is on fast forward, it would look even cooler if it was the proper speed. If you don't believe me, go look at some other stunt and formation flying clips, you'll see the difference. Not to mention the rapid head movement of the pilot in this video, again compare to other jet videos and you'll see that a pilots head doesn't move that fast.
