@Poseidon412 In his mind he must have been surprised, but he probably doesn't show it because he wants to treat Michael like he's a normal person. I guess that's one of the reasons why Michael seemed so comfortable and at home in Japan. In fact, when he went to Japan in 2007, an interviewer asked him how he felt to be in Japan again, and Michael answered, "I'm glad to be home." :)
