Alice, I paid 3 times to see N2N because of the clips & I got 3 other people to join me last time in DC. and I just bought your CD, and I bought Ripley the CD, but I was not there in the late 90s when you sang Meadowlark, and it cannot be recaptured. @megan132 This clip is from the 2002 Kennedy Center production [with John Barrowman as Bobby], which followed the original book [minus Tick Tock], not the updated [old] revival book. Marry Me a Little was NOT included. Where did you get your info.. so that I can research it further?

And, I've viewed a bootleg video. Nope - no Marry Me at the end of act one.. or anywhere else.

@5934931 Well, I don't know THAT. If she'd told me that she's Alice, then I'd immediately follow her wishes, of course. When someone writes a cryptic comment IN CAPS, I have NO idea who it is. I'd say this is the best version of GETTING MARRIED TODAY I've seen just about anywhere. And probably the best actress who ever sang it! I've been looking all over for that, but now I think I've found her! ALICE RIPLEY, probably the best Amy I think I will ever hear, and now a Tony winner as well!

Honestly, I like the 2006 revival version better. Its more full of life, and the setting is less dated, so are the costumes.

To me, Company is about the morals, ethics, & attitudes of the 1970s, so I like the "dated look" of other [older] productions. Company is one of those shows that doesn't need "improving." The OBC had a warm-'n-fuzzy feel that's been lost in EVERY revival since!
