  • How come the same band, that produced the amazing Wishbone Ash album (1970), went down so quickly right after? What is this?! Pop-rock? What the hell...

  • Singer here sounds a bit like Burton Cummings - The Guess Who. Just a good singer comment no need for a head bashing ok. If so ahead of time i'll say cram Andy's electric-V up your ass u good4nothing hater who should have better things to do than to come on a great artist' sight and blast a loving long-time fan of WBA for NO particular reason besides some bloody past childhood incident that's over now buddy get a hold ok? grin

  • This is a good song but Wishbone 4 was completely different from Argus and it really is an uneasy fit on a reissue of Argus. Argus was a masterwork and should only ever have been issued as it originally appeared in my opinion.

  • is this on argus reissue

  • taking care of business

  • Great song!Thanks.

  • Well, yeah, this was just a bonus track on the re-issue of Argus. This song is actually from the Wishbone Four album, as stated by some comments.

  • my copy of argus has jaile bait live instead of no easy road... so does my pilgramage -.-

  • . . . a little bit like southern rock .

  • Yes, i think now everybody knows that this song is on Wishbone Four. Guys, listen to everything of this guys, most underrated band of this planet......

  • This song simply doesn't fit in on the Argus album.

  • this song isnt on Argus

  • @dandeexxxx It's actually on one of the extended versions of Argus, but of course originally on WA 4.

  • These guys were still rocking when Lady Fricking GaGa was conceived. It only proves that today's kids don't know crap about good music. This is a gem of a song.

  • Correction. Wishbone was rocking long, long before Lady GaGa's mother ever conceived her. This is good music & anything from today just plain sucks!

  • @bucky468 Hey! I am one of today's kids! I like this. :)

  • @TheDarkKerman I applaud you for having good taste in good music. Spread the word of this music to your friends especially those who are sick of today's poser acts.

  • @bucky468

There are some good ones today just not at the level of back in the day . The times are different the world spirit

has moved on . Who would have wanted to follow Mozart ..............Beethoven !

  • @hieronomy

Very well said. We all step on out on that creative ledge. Ain't no such thing as bad music. Just that which is not our cup of tea.

  • I don't understand why the ended the album with this song. Actually, I think it would have been better to leave it out of the album and just use it as a B-side.

  • @Bitteulze

I believe it was added on the reissue as a bonus track.

The copy of Argus I have ends with Throw Down the Sword.

  • @7OFNFV3088 The same track is on "Wishbone Four" which is their biggest successful album in the US. It was a B-Side for both songs on "Argus" & "Wishbone Four." So it's hard telling what album this originally was featured on. W-Ash should have released it as an A-Side. I think this would've been their breakthrough hit.

  • @7OFNFV3088 Much better ending ! ;)

  • @Bitteulze I like this better imo.

  • Not typical proggish Ash, but a seriously great song nonetheless- a song the Stones wish they had written. This version is good, but the later version w/ the horns is even better...

  • @sixbladeknife44 I thought the horns drowned out the classic sound of the "Argus" version of the song. I'll have to hear it again.

  • So powerful, I love it.

  • Wishbone ash is god. Period.
