Heard this song for the first time on WBLS yesterday while driving in my car and I had to pull over and listen to it to try and listen to lyrics so I could search for it online. What an awesome song! There are very few songs that I dig the first time I hear it, this is one of them. I love this group but never heard this song by them before. Great piece of work guys! Who is the woman singing the vocals? It sounds like Randy Crawford but I saw another video with Barbara Walker singing lead.
truro007.iremember this too as part of his quiet storm sequence in the show also in the mood by the whispers was very popular too. aaahhhh the good old days.
This amazing track written by the underrated producer and keyboardist, Dexter Wansel, was very popular in 1982/1983 when being played by DJ Robbie Vincent in the UK on his Sunday night programme between 2100 and 2300. Great memories....and real music. The group had other hits too, but this is probably one of their best.

"Street Life"/Randi Crawford influences this vocal. A lot of songs from around that time show that flavor.

Wow what a classic throw back... reminds me of my youthful carefree
days growing up in the n.y.c. paying stick ball. dodgeball, hide & go get it,
drinking soda pop, running after the good humor truck.. whew what
classy tunes like this can & will do for the mind, body & soul....
takes you too a place safe & warm. Thanks for the awesome post/share.
