  • wow your game is slightly different to mine, i have an options selection on the menu and the missions are okayed different, yes mine is ps1

  • @SCGmovies I remember renting the retail version as a kid and being surprised at the options. On a related note, I purchased the retail version about two years ago, but never got to playing it, mainly since I want to record a playthrough without using the "camera recording the tv" approach.

  • i used to play this on the pc vs a m8 in multiplayer mode, its better on pc you can build a massive army and send it all at once to kill your opponent.

  • aahhhhhhhhhhhh the memories ;} <3 best game ever.

  • Is your war a total bore? Well no more!

  • Great game , liked playing WOPR over Norad usually but the Slayer tank was a beast.

Missile tank was useless in close combat

Personal favourites were the Dreadnought , Mantis , Slayer tank and Hydrofoil

  • Missile Tank useless? I can own your MK Walker I and III (almost the IV) with that unit in a VS game lol. The primary weapon is only a machine gun but it has the LONGEST reach than any ground unit. Those Double armor piercing FFAR HEAT Rockets is like the strongest secondary weapon in the game; not counting the air strikes. I have too much knowledge with this game lol, thinking about making videos of the missions this year.

  • Doubt that

  • Sorry about that, my friend (JuneLinMilliam) forgot to sign out and was using my account. Please do not mind my comment earlier.

  • NORAD missions are set up more harder than WOPR. The one vehicle that does the NORAD justice is the Slayer Tank and its funny that you get it already in the 3rd mission lol. I can solo any of the NORAD missions with it except Omaha Desert. NORAD has the best on many things; airborne vehicle, airstrike, strongest primary weapon, and foot soldiers. The only vehicles I see good with WOPR are MKIV Walker, Dreadnought, HoverTank, Scout Drone, and the Mantis.

  • I loved this game, but tricks I used to do: when hacking to refuel, hack again, so if u need another quick drop it will come again.

Move and fire, I like backing up and going forward while firing, the computer is really stupid lol.

  • just to be a little more clear: Hack once to refuel. Then hack again, so when the first helicopter restores your life it will return, then another helicopter will come, I usually move around and have it follow me until I need it.

last mission for NORAD; Omaha I think, was a pretty damn hard mission, I had to play 2 player to beat it.

  • the machines were the best, easpecially the air strike with the plasma nuke thing :D

  • No way! We can compare and contrast if you like to. I was sure that my friends who made FAQ's for this game and with the help of the reviewers coming to a conclusion, NORAD was overall better than WOPR.

  • Actually, if my memory serves me correctly, I remember quite well going farther in the WOPR campaign (which I tried second)when I rented WarGames. I remember giving up on NORAD not too far into the game. Then again, I WAS the "easily frustrated" gamer, and as a kid, I did get stuck several times.

  • Fuckin awesome game =)

  • Last time I played this was back in January 1999! My best mate and myself kicked this games right in the nuts and it was awesome!!

  • I hope someone posts the soundtrack to this game. It is a very powerful and dramatic soundtrack.

  • brings back memories... tnx for upload! i missed this game so much!

  • No problem, I would like to find a copy of this game myself.

  • Awesome, I still own this game and it definitely could use a nice remake for the Playstation 3. It has nice graphics, sound effects, game controls, and really cool missions. Shame on how some of these underatted cool games are never remade for updated consoles though.

  • Seeing how the gaming industry is getting with remakes, I think this one going unoticed might be for the best. I would like to see it on the Playstation Network, though.

  • meh, no need for a remake(though it does sound good... for a reason) A sequel would come out fine... even If it doesnt have a storyline(thats what I remember).

Guys in EA if ur reading this, MAKE A SEQUEL(or a remake is fine... :P)

  • A sequel to this? There isnt a sequel to WarGames.... have you even seen the movie lol? This game has all great elements of a real time strategy war game so a remake for a advance console is all it needs.

  • yeah ur right... :P

PS I havent watched the movie.
