hey i need help my nitro doesn't wanna start and when i get it going it runs fine till i take the glow plug off soon as i do it starts puttering and dieing.... ive got the idle set higher than needed just so i can keep it running... its got good compression but i think my piston and sleve might be bad how can i make sure that's what it is?

hi there. i love your videos they are really helpful. i have a slight problem with my carb and your help would be great. ive got a savage 25, everything works fine. only problem i have is that i cant adjust the idle needle. no matter which way i turn it the gap in the carb doesnt change, and the car revs like MAD when i start the car. and the engine stops when i break. when i turn the high speed needle idle speed slows down and car eventualy stops. is the carb set up wrongly? thanks for the help

wow i hate my revo engine.. theres a plastic piece between the gap so you cant tell if its open like yours or how to adjust really. is it safe to run engine with out air filter to see ur adjustments?

the hole that appears when you accelerate, is the same hole that just appears when you brake, although on mine the hole that appears when you brake is on the other side and also my carb seems to like fall out when I adjust the screw so a hole is present?

im having same problem as soverato3, when engine is aoperating temp the engine turns off when i brake, i check all needles, the carb isnt even closing when i brake, so besides the 30% with new glow plug, what else could be causing this?

so i set that to 1 mm orso and now it will run perfect in my garage even when i brake it will stay running :D

now i am going to ride it over ice with my home made spike tyres:D

@007foppe 2 years old fuel can be bad fuel and make your engine run or go bad as well. Get a new fuel and hope your engine is ok

when my engine is at the operating temp. and i break the engine quits even when i screw the idle screw fully in so that the gap is pretty big but still to little to idle so i need to adjust the idle on the radio but when i break he closes the valve untill the screw and engine quits but the pince test shows now problems

@soverato3 Set the throttle trims to center. now set the carb opening gap to 1mm or so. sometimes pinch test shows good but still you can lean it out just a tiny bit. Also check your glow plug and nitro percentage. use hot glow plug new one and use 30% nitro it will be all good

@nitroevaderst that same thing happened to me when i first got my tornado s30. screw in the idle screw loosely then rotate the carb back and forth until the idle screw catches on the a ridge inside if the carb. then screw the idle screw one or 1.5 roations in and it should work properly. message me if you really want more help

pleaaase help :S, OK, my idle speed is set correct, when its idle there 1mm gap and when it brakes its also the same but the bad thing is, im on my 4th tank of BREAK IN after just replacing my engine. And i was in the middle of counting my seconds and the engine died when i braked and my idle is fine, ive tried so much and i cant figure it out, and i dont think its good that im on my 4th tank of break in for like 3 days! help please.

When you are setting the throttle trim, do you have the brakes applied simultaneously, so that you can see when the carburetor is open? I hope this is correct, by the way your videos are very informative. Keep up the excellent work.
