The bible ( which I'm currently working on reading cover to cover for the fourth time )... reads more like an encounter of the third kind... I mean with all the bows in the clouds, and ladders to the sky, and magic flaming sword security systems... also why does everyone feel the need to stand on the mountain tops to talk to god?
P.S. BlasphemyBaby, I would love for you to do a bit on the "Creation Museum" in KY-- I never knew that Adam and Eve had dinosaurs in the garden of Eden!
can i just ask you if you have looked the vague words and decriptions up in an hewbrew or greek dictionary as alot of words have more than one meaning and the translaters just pick one they think fits so it helps you understand alot more when you go back to the origional langage. and know i'm not saying the bible is translated wrong if you have ever heard a non english speaking person trying to seak english you will get it hopfully
Then why didn't they understand these things perfectly back when everyone spoke the damn language. The argument is that if you are writing a book inspired by the man who builds television sets from scrap parts, then shouldn't you have some idea of how one works and not write in the book about how wonderful "The magic box" is? It doesn't matter if she looked up the words or not that were vague. What matters is that these facts weren't considered facts until after they were proven by science.
Referring to the bible as evidence is equivalent to using a word in the definition of the same word. It is irrational and just something you do not do.
I haven't truly appreciated logical thinking until this day.
Your videos, and other videos made by other agonists/atheists made me realize that "unbelievers" ARE NOT going to spend an enternity in hell, and I thank you all for that.
I could write a science fiction novel today, none of it would be true today, but if the book is long enough at least some of the things in it are likely to be half true in 2000 years time!
