To be honest, I like slots and go to Delware Park and Charlestown on a regular basis. Ok, ok, enough with the boos and hisses. The truth here is that the Maryland Constitution should NOT be amended in order to bring slots to Maryland. The people of Maryland should be smart enough to vote against this referendum and if they want slots, they should bring it to Maryland by other means such as introducing a bill through the state legistlature.
You like to say how its gonna bring in more crime baltimore city was #1 in murders for over 20 years even though omalley rigged the record to look good for the governor race the city was still #1 in murders. Prostitution happens anyway. You talk like it'll make the state so much worst but remember baltimore city is in maryland and was the #1 city not atlantic city or las vegas and people can still go to atlantic city or to delaware for slots or for poker rooms or a underground home game.
The addition of slot machines will increase crime and prostitution. People will become desperate and take drastic measures to get money to play slots. These machines are addictive; it's a habit called gambling that in my opinion is as harmful as a drug habit. Families are seperated because of gambling, people lose their homes and lives because of gambling. There is so much negativity attached to this activity. That is why this activity is not allowed in the Constitution; Say's Who? Says Me!
Let me be the first to comment. I don't support the addition of more slot machines in Maryland. Let's (as a Country) stick to the principles that got us so blessed in the first place and not stray away from God.

Exercise your right to vote and DO NOT vote for any candidates who support gambling.
