@globemaster68 I just ran into this video by accident, and saw your comment.
I respect the fact that everyone deserves to form their own opinion (obviously I disagree with you on Craig) but just so you know-
Craig has been very honest about his past problems with alcohol, something extremely rare nowadays. He's been sober for 18 years now. You can watch a video on YT called :Craig Ferguson speaks from the heart"- it will change your mind.
@globemaster68 Actually, Craig Fergusen is a recovering alcoholic that has been sober for 22 years. His alcoholism was so bad that he tried and failed to commit suicide. I respect your decision to not like him, that's your opinion. But claiming that he is still drinking when he hasn't had a drop for 22, get your facts straight. In other words step the fuck off.
@karamazov222 no need to cuss at me. i did not know he is a recovering alcoholic, and thank you for informing me of that fact. i will take back my ignorant comment. and sorry for pissing you off.

Ferguson has his moments like this one and when he talked about his father's death and 911...oh, and when he talks about his alcoholism. He's great when he's talking about something serious and compelling but doing it in a lighthearted, passionate, friendly, Scottish way. That being said, I probably haven't seen the show in a year. In fact, I avoid it like the plague. The Late Night Promotional Interview routine - it gets old. Maby he should have a show like Tavis Smiley's.
I loved this. Craig is on a roll. His "if you don't vote you're a mornon" monologue still ranks highly with me and others.. but this was really well deserved and he did this so very well. An amazing act of bravery and glad that he recognized it!!

158 people, and potentially thousands in New York, are here today because of the skill and bravery of Capt Sully. The world salutes you Captain.

man this motherfucker is hilarious that miata skit and the flaps down thing lol wow i almost peed my pants

Loved Craig driving 2:37 the Miata.
"You show me a straight person driving a Miata and I'll show you someone that isn't telling the whole truth"
Has this footage been over-processed?
I would expect better quality footage from CBS!
Perhaps I'm expecting too much from the original source????

Craig was hilarious in this.....and good for him to recognize Captain Sullenberger.
"Hair raising dance with death"...
All I can say is that the icy water of the Hudson was boiling compared to the blood in Captain Sullenberger's veins.
Joe Montana & the Fonz just went out and bought "Captain Sully" pajamas.

I saw Craig do this the night it was on and he was the first to mention Capt. "Sully"..most cool
