lol its called lunging! just some advice..he was giving you a sign he wanted to be you freind..then ur suppse to join up..but its better hen wheni first started..i always got confused! haha
for just learning that's good, it's actually called lunging, a helpful bit of advice though, I would put a cone where you are standing because you tend to walk and follow the horse, you want to stationary in the center, much better than when I was just learning :)
