  • thank u for this an i believe you!

  • why not just use an aligator clip hooked up to a switch for the other lead?

  • @bustosricky good video though, we wouldn't be science fans if we weren't trying to make every aspect of an experiment better.

  • You didn't do badly. Try affixing the magnifier in a vise or some such device, and keep youself away from the camera to reduce jiggle.

The rotation of the mercury is visible, by the way.

  • now build an ancient vedic aircraft with it.

  • @trinarystarsystem If you can get me an interview with someone from Agharta, and half a million bucks, I'd be happy to build you a mercury vortex based flying saucer. :-)

  • yes anything with a gyro in it will self right itself, search "the mighty cheese" for an example that is quite amusing :) i have a better description what i have did, or rather was the one who helped a engineer/physicist do this at his house for a fun project.

send me a note and i will forward it to you all, its more then 1k characters long, so i can post here.

also he is now working on a carbon fiber cage, (not much metal to deform from the magnetic field and using acrylic spheres

  • @opossom1968 send me all the details in a private message please. Thanks!

  • sorry been working on other projects to post.

Ok so, im not sure the working size of this contraption, but from past experiments with like substances less means faster spinning.

basket ball size would be a good starting point for volume of mercury, also the parts in making it this size would be affordable. Balls must be spinning on there own horizontal axis, gyro must be free to work an attached to the balls, bah not enough room to explain and im not very good at drawing.

  • WHY SO MANY DISLIKES????

  • @dariusflyboy666 People are afraid of mercury, afraid of unconventional experiments that challenge the statues quo, and afraid of living.... :-) Thats why so many dislikes.

  • Someone needs to create a mercury gyroscope

  • @piwacket33 Thats me bro, i got multiple people working on the project.

  • @MOHx32 COOL. I'm a computer scientist and a hobbiest otherwise, but NOT to this degree.... I'd LOVE to set a lab up in my basement. How can you even get started in this type of experimentation? I'm a huge Tesla girl (yeah, I'm a sis not a bro) but I have phenomenal intuition and problem solving skills... I just need to understand the problems a little more. That said. If you run into a wall and want to try some WEIRD but possibly wonderful "solutions" please don't hesitate to contact me.

  • @piwacket33 Im looking for someone to help in electromagnetic acceleration of a objects and practical uses for superconductors, in what state do you live?

  • @piwacket33 I currently am, but its more for studying magneto-hydrodynamics rather than some outre and ill explained "anti-gravity" effect.

  • @D34Df007 "ill explained" My thoughts exactly! I believe (conspiracy here) that science is taught in a certain way, so that certain concepts are not addressed, either pushed into a category of ridicule (from a published-paper POV), or that the mundane/Occam explanation suffices and no questions further are needed, and it's overcoming the seemingly absurd that will lead to the discovery of AMAZING things.Scientists have to NOT be afraid of being called a fool. It's part of the dumbing down of usa.

  • @piwacket33 I agree with you. Established academia is controlled by rich private individuals that have very carefully and selectively steered science along a very narrow path and in a direction that lends itself to keeping the truth a secret and humanity dependent on very primitive technologies that require fossil fuels as there source for energy.

  • @piwacket33 They did already back in 1931. Look up the Nazi Bell Experiment.

  • @spiritelemental have you put the whole thing on a scale and compared the weight b4 and during?

  • Comment removed

  • i herd that if u take a tube of acrlic or plastic tubin made it like a hula hupe a circle filled it with mercury added voltage to it by poking wires in to the plastic the mercury will go so fast the tube will float or fly apart if cheeply made ufo techolgy havent tried it i think its a lie

  • @danielmelvinstephens I'll bet it wouldn't fly apart in zero g.

  • Que aburrida tu experiencia , me duermo !!

    Por eso estamos atrasados..,

  • Nice, old school zoom effect @0:08

  • @FlowersAll

You can find more information on how to build this generator

    by searching Google for :

"best magnetic generator" - good luck...

  • Based on what I have read here, the disk would create it's own "De-Stablized" gravity field. So in doing so would be moving in the direction of the distortion sort of falling to the weak point. the issue would be inertia, unless the distortion negated the gravity effect. You could amplify the direction you do not want to go creating propulsion "Moving to the weak side" sense you exist in a distortion gravity would not effect you. In theory.........

  • put the mercury in a 3 sealed balls, now mount that to a gyroscope, spin it fast.

the mercury will start to emit a blinding white light and levitate off the desk, the gyro will keep it stable.

be care full, the magnetic field will be strong, it acts like a shield, Ronald Richter was doing this in Argentina, during WW2, called The Nazi Bell project.

resembles a UFO, also the magnetic property's act like a shield, just like the earths magnetic shield, wish i had the money to make my own.

  • @opossom1968 put the mercury in 3 sealed balls? I don't understand what you mean. Draw me a picture and email it to me. My email is spudman at mail dot org

  • @spiritelemental i would like to know more on what you mean. Me and my friends are about to build an anti-gravity prototype. And if it ever becomes a success, I'll be sure to post it on youtube and give you credit.

  • @MOHx32 Don't give me credt. The Nazis did all this and more way back in 1931 with their Bell Experiment.

  • @spiritelemental He means place the mercury in three spheres or balls, and then seal them tight. Not sure about the rest of what he said, as my understanding of magnetics is horrible.

  • @opossom1968 come on :)

It's not that easy and anyway, you need a high pressure. To rotate mercury at high speed (maybe more than 50k rpm) you really need laboratory conditions. It's not easy. I don't think will "levitate". Maybe will lose some weight beacuse of gyroscopic effect... but that's all.

@spiritelemental , opossom1968 want to say: you need 3 separate balls with mercury (not only one) - like in nazy pictures - under the "saucer" are 3 "bulbs".

  • @opossom1968 and is mercury the only substance that it will work with what about gallium?

  • @opossom1968 A simple man asking a question. Physics is a hobbie for me. If making this 3 sealed ball setup like you say, Could manualy tilting the Gyro cause the setup to change direction. or will the setup continually go back to center level?. I do metal work and have drawn up plans to build a Flying saucer for the neighborhood kids to play on. But I heard of a similar experiment by the Nazis in ww2. So now my mind is ready to build real saucer. Could be lucrative

  • @MrMotortech youre going to build a flying saucer... for the neighborhood kids to play on? What have you been smoking man?

  • @D34Df007 Naw I dont do drugs, Just have an overactive imagination......LOL. Would like to build one though. The kids would be like AWESOME DUDE!

  • @opossom1968 people still believe in UFO shit and even think they can make one?

  • @TheChickenrun3 what he says is 100% historically accurate. why post when you dont know the facts? youtube idiots.

  • i have a question about this contraption

is it possible to power this with friction electricity by usinng spinning magnets

and is it possible to do so on a larger scale as well as on a smaller scale

  • Now you can put a turbine of some kind on top and see if it spins. Even a small disk will do it.

  • so many dislikes, probably jews and religious nuts.

  • Instead of using mercury, have you thought of using a safer low melt metal, such as gallium or galinstan? Gallium has lower vapor pressure than mercury. There are many more available, and they can melt in warm water. Wood's metal, for instance, is pretty cheap and a lot safer, even though it contains lead. If you are serious about experimenting in the long run,try these. Even very low mercury exposure will cause significant problems over a few years.

  • to bad he cant speak

  • Cool video!

    But will it blend?

  • cool it for a super conductor effect.

  • you do realize you are releasing mercury laden vapor into the atmosphere? I conduct a similar experiment years ago, unknowingly creating a serious toxic hazard.

  • Amazing. You re-invented the homopolar motor...

  • FAKE

  • how did you do this substance?

  • I can even hear tremors in your breathing pattern. You really should wear a mask bro. Incredibly poisonous stuff you're working with. What's your point? It's really easy to rotate mercury in an electromagnetic vortex. You need 0 viscous superfluid, (like liquid helium) mixed with ferrofluid to rotate your flying saucer. Is that the idea? You'll need to invent the super-ferrofluid first. Be careful where you put that mercury. Stays in drain traps. Few drops poisons a whole household with vapor:-(

  • Evaporation of the mercury. He is absolutely poisoning himself. Look it up. Department of health. Effects of mercury VAPORS. hope that poor kid doesn't listen to you.

  • @villie91 Actually, mercury metal eVAPORates at room tempurature, if not contained in a safe device such as a thermometer. A few drops poses a serious health risk. 80% of the VAPOR enters directly into the blood stream when inhaled. One of the first signs of mercury poisoning is TREMORS. Also, any non-ferrous metal will become temporarily magnetic when introduced to an electromagnetic field. Also, running an electric current through metal causes it to heat, which will rapidly increase the

  • Had kept that magnifying glass out of the way I would have had a better view of what you were doing.

  • :-/ Dude, you are poisoning yourself.

  • @Mikey123581321 mercury doesnt release dangerus fumes hes fine

  • The only thing i can see replicating is the reflection in the mercury from your head leaning forward and blowing into the cup with your mouth. Count the breaths, and the eractic movements of the so called mercury from start to finish...LOL

It may be doing something, but if your going to doctor evidence as well, then dont bother.. Accept it, and move on.. Now give us a real test, and real stats & figures if you really want to help mankind.. last thing we want is study it in frames just to prove..

  • Uhhhh your camera doesnt have zoom?

  • Each time i watch one of these types of videos, I say to myself "Come ON Already! Get on with it!!"

  • WHAT FUN! NOW LETS SEE YOU DRINK THE MERCURY!!! THAT WILL GET YOU A BILLION HITS....PROMISE!

  • any drawings?

  • super cool it. It will become a better semiconductor

  • i cant hear you wearing a protective mask.. where is ur respirator? stop breathing in those mercury vapousr

  • This is just a homopolar motor.

  • hand tremors are one symptom of mercury poisoning

  • look at those hands... i'm glad your not a surgeon

  • Ok, this is no different than Michael Faraday's experiment with the exact same thing in 1821. The mercury is not magnetic, the magnetic field is caused by the movement of current. This is called Right Hand Rule, google it. When magnetic field lines are perpenducualar to electric field lines, they cause force just like in the video. This has nothing to do with anti gravity.

  • @iHeartElectricalEng - Yes, I agree. However, how many of us in science have seen this effect with mercury. Probably none of the audience - myself included. Fascinating.

  • Like it! Looks like you're discovering something.

  • I bet if you drop ink or particulate into it, you would be able to get a base speed of rotation at so many volts/amps

  • I've read that if you simply heat mercury from below with a rotating heat source, it will flow in the opposite direction and rotate faster than the rotating heat source is. Which sounds like an energy gain to me. I haven't yet tried this and I haven't see it--yet.

  • @hallsf i doubt you would get energy gains because of the loss of energy due to escaping heat

  • Minni Foo Fighters? lol

  • Place the mercury in a rotating magnetic field. Voila rotation. The next step is to manipulate the field in various ways. Always record the parameters before each experienment then record the measurement during the experienment next record the results. Measure Measure Measure. We need real data and only data will drive us forward. Good concept just beuild on it. Thanks!

  • @Engineer245 What do you mean by a rotating magnetic field?

  • @spiritelemental Two magnets of opposite poles spinning underneath the mercury.

  • @spiritelemental If you plave 3 coils the right way and exite them with symmeticla 3phasic voltage you make a rotating emf. The easiest way to do this is by buying cheap induction 3phas. motor and removing the rotor. If you dont have 3ph power then you will need electronics.

  • @spiritelemental sigh, Magnets have an invisible, rotating field. Your trying to create a shockwave using liquid metal (same with ion fillings). Plus might increase the magnetism there.

  • @spiritelemental translation make a rotating magnet around it

  • @spiritelemental this is where anti gravity technology starts, i hope you realize this :)

  • @spiritelemental by attaching a magnet to something that can make the magnet circulate around the mercury

  • @Engineer245 can you tell me how you got the set up made is that a ring magnet with a nail in the center or just a nail soldered to a round plate with a ring magnet serounding it

  • I'm a dork and all but I hope research in this brings us closer to Antigravity.Ü

  • is mercury actually magnetic tho.

  • mercury is magnetic or did you have to put somthing in mercury to make it magnetic

  • I heard a rumor that mercury sealed in an aluminum alloy sphere and infused with dissolved iron and liquid helium will react to a phased induction current from an energized coil. This is a rudimentary "MARCONI VORTEX DYNAMO" or centripetal engine. Thank you for posting this significant and ingenius apparatus. Please use mercury only in a sealed container because it is very dangerous.

  • mercury is magnetic??

well i learn something new everyday

  • @AceOfShadows10001 Pretty much if it if metal it is magnetic.

  • @D8W2P4mercury can't be magnetized. For one thing, it's a liquid at room temperature; for the other, even if you lowered the temperature to the point that mercury is a solid, it is not ferromagnetic.

  • @mozart0341 Magnetic can include things effected by magnetism, and if you get a powerful enough field you can move atoms and the parts of atoms no matter what it is.

  • Will try.

  • bad video

  • Have you ever heard of Ronald Richter's experiments in Argentina or the Nazi Bell project in WW2?

You are replicating on a minor scale with far less power what they did.

  • @AltitudeWarrior missing a couple of steps but still awesome.

  • hightech zoom ! cool vid.

  • Dont hadle that mercury with bare hands.

  • Very interesting. I wonder if the gryoscoping effect could be put to some use?

  • fake and gay

  • @davothebum2201 ur fake and gay, just a big fat phony.

  • Good ventilation should be considered when working with Mercury so that you dont breath in the vapors. Im sure most young elementary school students already know that mercury vapors are toxic. ;-)

  • @spiritelemental I know, I had mercury poisoning, not fun!

  • @spiritelemental I don't know what elementary school you went to but we focused on whales and tectonic plates.

  • My guess is this is why everything in the universe seems to be rotating; galaxies, solar systems, planets and ring systems, as well as weather patterns.

BTW, are there any other competing theories about why mass begins to rotate as it falls in gravitationally?

  • @jeffkosmo perhaps objects rotate while falling do to subtle differences in motion that are otherwise unnoticed. To one spectator both bodies may be stationary, while more precisely one or both may be move in directions that encourage rotation. You are never without motion... everything moves on some level or relative to something else. Just my 2 cents...

  • @jeffkosmo maybe gravity itself.. as "mass" begins to build a gravitational pull starts, and also a magnetic field, which makes particles collide with the mass, because of the Gravity, and then maybe because of the magnetic field each particle is drawn to a certain point of that magnetic field creating revolution of bodies and of bodies around bodies? just something i honestly thought of i have nothing to really back it up.. lol
