I am one of many who stridently disagree with you. Relativism is the opposite of leadership. Everyone has flaws; a man owns up to them. Obama will not own up to his relationships with terrorists, felons imprisoned for fraud, anti-American/ black liberation theologists, and students of Saul Alinsky. People that respect American sovereignty aren't keen on these relationships or Obama's denial of them.

Relativism: The subjectivism of groups. the idea that there is no objective fact of the matter, there are only opinions.
The words you are looking for are either irresponsible, unaccountable, or opportunistic. I.e, Obama is not taking responsibility for previous positions, or, Obama is a political opportunist.
If you're going to libel Obama, you might as well use the proper words.

Masterful? She didn't answer many of the questions, nor does she have the mastery of the issues that Biden has. If you're impressed with how easily someone cracks jokes, uses cliches, and sidesteps the questions, then by all means, be impressed...she kept her cool, and didn't look like the buffoon she was on her previous interviews. BTW-she got the commander's name wrong, but that is not that big of a deal. Look into her voting record, and discuss that. But at least she wasn't an embarrassment.

That's the way you look at it and you are entitled to that opinion. I think she was very effective and strong. I have never seen a female politician stand up to a man that way. And she is an outsider- that is a very good thing. She hasn't been poisoned by relativism of Washington. As far as getting things wrong, Biden mixed up basic Constitutional principles and a lot of McCain's votes in the Senate; everyone is going to make mistakes. But her presence and effectiveness outshined Biden, easily.

Have you never seen Margaret Thatcher? She may not be an American, but she certainly could hand people their asses in parliament (and she is a conservative).
Or AZ Gov. Janet Napolitano, she may not have the beauty queen looks of Palin, but she has a commanding presence and is knowledgeable about a wide variety of issues.
Lynne Chenney isn't a politician per ce, but she's still a political tiger whenever you see her interviewed.
Palin doesn't even come close to these women.

What should be said though is this...if this were an episode of American Idol, Ms. Palin may very well have been able to sneak her performance by the judges, with her winks and her "you betchas".
But this is not American Idol...this is America's future.
She is EXACTLY what you MUST NOT have in a leader. Somebody who is confident...and wrong.

The road to hell is paved with good intention. I was for McCain emotionally and intellectually but he really sold out during this election. His choice of Palin showed me how little regard he actually has for this country. He wants the presidency as a means of obtaining a limited form of eternal presence in history. No way shape or form would McCain have voted for someone like Palin had she been running for president and he not. I'm going to vote for Obama/Biden as a result.

I honestly don't understand the praise Palin is getting from some of the pundits over this debate. Although she didn't have any obvious "moose in headlights" moments, I really don't think she fared much better than the Couric interviews. If you watch the debate carefully, there are slip-ups and gaffes in nearly all of Palin's answers.
