  • his music was so personal

  • THis is for you Penny D.I still think about you 30 years later

  • These dreams...they keep me going these days...

  • Died at 30 yrs. old just Imagine how many more songs?

  • I know, so so sad! He produced so much incredible music in just that short time. It's so unfortunate, but I'm grateful for what we do have of his to enjoy always.

  • I think about that like all his fans. Ingrid, his widow, said he was going to leave the business altogether after his last short road tour. I would have to think even HE would not cut himself that short, financial frustrations and all. He WAS at that time red hot radio propery. I was 13 and he was soaring on the airwaves here in NY. He may have held out until he received the royalties he deserved.

  • much respect

  • Not taking away from Jim because he was a brilliant lyracists.....but wow man....Maury was flat out amazing. Classicly trained and education musician and it shows in every song. The melodic scales, alternating picking picking paterns.....just phenominal!

  • was on top when he passed-very big radio play at the time. cut short. great talent!!

  • i am a hip-hop fan, i rap produce beats and sample. but i gotta say this is amazing and he is one of the best songers in my opinion

  • This is excellent!!Thanks sooo much for posting these ,this guy is unreal would have been a huge sucess if he had lived.I would like to find a cincert of him recorded somewhere if anyone knows please post??Thanks

  • probably the 2nd best Croce song after "I'll have to say I love you in a song"

  • my fav is Operator..it says so much about him.

  • maxstratos, thank you for posting these songs, you have no idea what they mean to me.

  • only 7545 views. some of the songs my daughter

listens to have over 4 million and will be forgotten by next week. where is the justice.

  • Im 16 and i love the "old stuff" i think the stuff kids listen to today is crap.

  • Good for you!!!

But you ee, it's not old stuff, really: it reaches you, it means something to you, it will never be old.

Just think: 2 guys with guitars, no special FX, nothing..... and timeless!

  • the justice is when they all end up in jail and you see it on the news every week. lil wayne, chris brown, kanye west at the VMAs, there's your justice

  • It's up to 13,840 as I write this one month later. Nice!!!

  • he kinda looks like Mario o.o

  • Jim is, and will always be the BEST !!!

I miss him every day, he has the most beautifull spirit I know.

  • Thanks for posting

  • this is jims absolute best song ever!!!! and my personal favorite

  • AMEN!

  • I can never get enough of this song or watching him perform.

  • Poor guy ... Rich soul;

    Jim Croce forever!

  • he wrote some of the most passionate music ever, without sounding like a fag.

i think that if god wanted us to listen to a certain type of music, then it would be jim croce's music.

thank you jim! we miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hello, max. . . .this song reminds me of my first love. . .(sob) name is girlie. . . . .

  • I love this so much. It's just brilliant.

  • hi max, to add to what i wrote yesterday, to see my jim croce cover songs, simply visit my channel. thanks!

  • hi max, thanks for this. great job. i am a great fan of jim croce myself. when i was sick with swine flu (kidding!), i made a cover of this and other jim croce songs. you will be disappointed with the voice but i should get kudos for daring. thanks!
