@TheDomzal Nope. Killing a charging black bear with a 9mm pistol would be possible if you were able to jam the gun into its ear and pull the trigger.....emptying a 9mm pistol into a charging polar bear would only lead to 1 pissed off bear, and 1 very badly mauled human.

I was tring to figure out why sawyer looked so different in the beginning of the show and I finally figured it out. He's clean shaven! I mean, he has his hair slicked back to, but it is definately that he was clean shaven!

A polar bear along with a grizzly I can heard can take alot of damadge especially to the head since there skulls are slanted and arched in such a way a normal bullet rickochets off and pisses it off.

They're not stupid, you have to watch the show to get it. ;) it's not a joke. The island used to be used for experiments, but the experiments shut down and the bears got out, I guess....we're still not completely sure. lol That's what I love about the show, all the questions.

I guess thats why i dont like the show, that does describe why there is a polar bear on an island, but thats why i dont like it. cause it seems to be all questions leading to more questions. Never having to explain oneself, to me thats not creative, its just a plot devise that gets old very quick.

They just haven't addressed all of them (tho they did say that they would by the end of the series). HA no.. he shot at the bear 10 times and he closed his eyes each time he pulled the trigger. I doubt if it was real life he'd have hit it before it got closer than 10 yards shooting like that! lol
