Great video! I couldn't have done a better review of this game myself. It sure does lend itself to getting a bad name quickly but you gotta really give it time to grow on you. You got way farther than I ever did!
When you said "watch what it does in the Genesis" I thought you were about to say it doesn't work. lol
most codemasters games on the megadrive are weird. take the micromachine carts for example, theyre supercool with the extra controller ports on the top, but how strange for a cartridge and an idea!
even the codemasters game gear carts are different too, look at that CJ The Elephant game (i think its called CJ anyway) its massive!
quite interesting to see how codemasters have panned out since their early days eh? very successful!
i have this game on thr master system it has the same odd cart shape and doesnt play on the megadrive converter as do all those odd shaped made in england master system games i have. great game tho on any system it seems
Nice new intro and inside-the-nomad gameplay view! The game looks alright, but I think it's best to stick to PC for these point and click style adventure games. They probably threw the platforming in so that it would be a little more accessible to people.
@BackForwardPunch Well the platforming was based on the original Linus Spacehead game from Quattro Adventure, so I like to think that they threw in the adventure parts so it wouldn't be all just a hard platformer.
Dude both Lucas Arts and Sierra were the kings of the point and click style of games. I like how this one includes some platform gameplay too, although it's lame you can't attack. Great vid, and interesting game.
Ah "CodeMasters"! Formerly known as "Code Masters"!`=P
The company was responsible for the hit "Micro Machines" and the `Dizzy`series! This company was very innovative!
Cosmic Spacehead looks like an interesting title! A platformer slash adventure game! Yummy I have never heard of this title before. But when I saw the cartridge design for this game, I knew it was a Code Master game.
The history behind the company and how it was started is really interesting.
They have to be digitally signed with an encryption key. It's practically impossible to crack the key (would take millenia with all the world's computers). The only way you could do it is to find a security bug to work around (that's how the Xbox was cracked), but these days they can fix the hole and push out a new firmware.
I had this game for the master system , greatest game i owned then lol

Codemasters ported all their games to loads of different systems, so they couldn't be locked into Nintendo exclusive contract.

how come there are not any unlicenced games for newer gen consoles...(or are there),,,,, is a legal issue or a codeing issue...
