音楽性の違いから「約束」リリース後に脱退。
ユニット名の由来も、ＭＩＹAKE ＨＩＲＯＫＯ ＭＡＲＵＯ にＧＴをつけたものだったのが、船に付ける○○丸のｍａｒｕということに変更になった。
いわゆる黒歴史ってやつ。
