@VikingNightmare A lot of the people bashing choson are real martial arts practitioners. Greg has copied and performed techniques wrong that's why people are angry at him. If he sticked to hapkido and taekwondo no one would ever diss him since he has skill in those arts. Not like his kali tutorial where he tells you to catch sticks and break your hand or when he throws shuriken without proper shurenjutsu training.
I am quite new regarding this ChosonNinja/ChosonMusa vs other teachers thing, but why does everyone bash him? I don't mean to disprove the fact that he is not as skilled as he would like to seem, anyway i am in no position to make that call, but even if he is as Sensei Houzan Suzuki said "a swindler" can't he just be labeled as such. I think if you were TRULY were a martial arts master, you would not be so concerned about criticizing others who are trying to teach. Not all of it may be true, but you can't go around preaching peace but then starting wars. I honestly could care less about whether the technique is Korean or Japanese. If it saves my life, or benefits me in any way, is all I care about. Feuds over things like this are stupid and futile.

the only weapon ive seen greg with that he can claim as his own is the double edged straightsword, which is a korean weapon but not a japanese one, and hasnt realy been for nearly 1000 years when the chokuto, and later tachi/ katana replaced it

the phillipines are one of the most dangerous places in the world. mal-phil-indo martial arts are some of the most complete and dangerous martial arts in the world with a huge variety still being passed down in families, the phillipines have had a long violent history and their martial artists were still fighting matches to the death until very recently which is why bullshit like gregs nonsense doesn't flourish there

no i'm criticizing the fact he claimed them to be authentic and from his ryu when they're definitely not, he stole togakure ryu's design since it's the most well known "ninja" star then for his next video he just cut it down to look different but claimed it was his design same with the teppan, tsugawa ryu shuriken, shirai ryu shuriken and he'll keep doing it because he doesn't know history

you don't understand how martial arts work then. the traditional arts were made to get people ready for battle, to react a specific way when faced with combat, it's not being bogged down with tradition it's a specific pattern being drilled into you so that when you react you're not conscious your body knows what to do no matter how scared you are or shaken up or exhausted whatever

Im not an expert in the history and styles of Ninjitsu like you detail in your videos, but comparing Choson and people like you and other real Martial Artists its apparent their is a reason Chosons stuff is "free" and it isnt his sense of good will.

I feel he is creating free videos to make a name for himself then create videos to sell. Alot of his skills are pretty good and thats why I watch them to pick and choose wich ones I want to add to my arsenal. I have gone to dojos and felt certain techniques would't work you just take that risk especially if it's on you-yube for free
