I like your comment about Shanice's vocal range. She had that distinction before Mariah carey, if I remember correctly. What happened to vocalists who could actually sing?!?!

@Gunnybunny353 Thanks very much. This was recorded in 1988 when she was only 15, so she was before Mariah who came out with a blast in 1990. They are still around, so too is Shanice who is working on a comeback for early 2011. Kepp supporting real artists.

I used to cry alot as a little girl whose parents left before she was ten. Over the years I have "toughened-up" and dont cry at all. But everytime I hear this, my heart breaks for that little girl and the tears are unstoppable.

I wish every daughter and son who cries today that those tears will be replace with smiles and laughter as the years go by. Happy Holidays!

i miss him so much and I miss him most at Christmas, because I only got to spend one Christmas with him in my entire life and i'm 14 now

i was named after the singer Shanice

so i think it'a kinda destiny that that song happened to be about my life
