  • The question is was Tommy really the one who wrote the score? I have heard his other work, it doesn't really sound any similar, unless this was a one-of-a-kind production.

  • @ueffect The question is why are you so retarded. Maybe you haven't heard tommy's solo work but this is certainly within his range as far as composition goes.

  • @xxcrysad3000xx Hello ignorant Tommy worshipper, before calling me retarded you should know that there were actually four composers working on this in total. Todd Dennis being one of them did a lot of work on it too so I was right. U mad?

  • They should reproduce it in HD

  • Wonderful music, wonderful game. I really wish that I could get this playing right on windows 7. It's aged very well actually graphically, gameplay it's solid as a rock.

  • 4:31 :D

  • I used to be scared and looked away every time i died, cuz of that skull coming to you :( I was like 7 lmao

  • @ppipod Lol when I was a kid, me and my brother always shit in our pants and freaked out when that tank was coming at us in Level 3.

What did we always do? We were so scared we took Kurt Hectic's (The character) back to level one and hide for like a hour, shivers running through our spine and laugh to eachother just because we wouldn't dare to go back at level 3 :p LOL, but it was so funny in the process. It nearly makes me want to cry, such good memories !!

  • Such a f'ing awesome game...

  • nostalgia...

  • God i love this game. Brings back so much good memories, and the music is still incredible...

  • first computer game in my life thanks really thanks for memories !!

i still remember its missions :( i wish they redesign it with better graphics xD

  • mdk2 is not as good as mdk1

    i love this game

  • most of this music dont exist in my version of MDK, atleast not so long versions ...

and this is one of the freakin best games ever end of discussion.

I love this game, there must be MDK3 in progress somewere someday.

  • Max Doc Kurt

  • first game i ever bought.classic awesomeness!

    MDK meant Mission Deliver Kindness

    not murder death kill

  • It ment... it doesn't matter what it ment. The fucking game is awesome.

  • you're fuckin right it is.lol

no argument about that from me.

  • are you sure?

  • am i sure about what? am i sure that it was the first pc game i bought....yes i am

am i sure that im not arguing about its awesomeness?......im sure about that too.

any other stupid questions i can answer for you?

  • @6666loki6666

that mdk stood for mission deliver kindness?

    thick fuck

  • @chainsawz

yes.i'm sure since at the beginning of the the game, the voiceover says 'your mission: deliver kindness'

  • @6666loki6666

acctually, no, in an interview with one of the creators, they used the codename of the game, cuz they didn't find a name.

the codename was MDK and since then they just left it open.

on another interview, they said its Murder, Death, Kill.

but Mission: Deliver Kindness is an option too because they left it open even to Mother's Day Kisses.

  • This is great! I've been listening to crappy 8 bit files for the past 12 years now; great to hear the music in stereo!

  • I always have this game installed on my computer. Not having the icon on my desktop at all times makes it feel empty...

  • this game was the shit, love it

  • MDK was one of the best games on PS1 but went under the radar.

  • I never understood why this game did not sell I mean you fall out of space like a bullet then land on giant alien city what about that isn't awesome

  • @TheSmallFish1 the only game that has a helmet for a sniper rifle, complete with projectile cameras....

  • Tommy Tallarico was the man, too bad he sold out. What roots he came from and made. Too bad it's not as nearly diverse as it once was. I STILL FEEL TOP! SKREW MDK2!!!

  • this music is soooo awesome

  • This game redefined my existence as a gamer, this was the most interesting, bizarre, awesome, cool game I, Guido Lomanto have EVER played...

Only topped by flashback on my favouites list, this game is a fucking masterpiece...

I love everything of this game.

  • 8:51 was that the music from the level with the little guy runnig around the holographic Earth in the middle? Was such a long time ago but used to love that music! MDK2 was awful..

  • GROOVY

  • I FEEL TOP!!!

  • Epic game. 2nd one was probably better though.

  • 2nd one sucked so much butt.

  • Lol at the 2 vote down for my comment.

2nd one was great. The style of it was different but the gameplay stayed the same. It was still fun.

BUT, I haven't played both (Especially 1st one) in a looooong time so I can't really judge.

  • Are you from israel? related to it? jewish?

Omri is an israeli name :-)

Well i can agree that the gameplay of the first game does not differ much from the second game, although i must state that the feeling of the first game is so much different, the classic soundtracks, the good old graphics, everything is at its right place. there aren't any bugs nor annoying stuff like the second has (Playing as a little fish?!)

I have just downloaded the first one to get my memories working again.

  • I used to live in Israel, than I moved to America like 4 years ago. I also used to be Jewish but now I'm seriously leaning towards Agonsticism (from Atheism).

Both were great. I like MDK2's soundtrack more though.

  • Oh well, i'm an atheist.

I think i know why you think that MDK2's soundtrack was better, you have played MDK2 before the first, Am i right?

  • Actually no. I believe I played 1 before 2. I just really wasn't paying attention to the soundtrack at 1 while I WAS paying attention to the one at 2, cus it was more noticeable. Also, I haven't played both since I was about 8-9. I beat the original :D

Still have the disc I think.

  • one of my first loves I still play it all the time

  • wots the soundtrack name at 6:49

    wb

  • Wow this brings back some memories...very underrated game, one of my all time favorites

  • Murder Death Kill - The movie

that would be a epic hollywood movie ^^

  • or Max Doctor Kurt ^^

  • lol xD Yeah the main char was called Kurt, everthing comes back to me now :)

  • i thought it came out in 1996... or was that the psx version?

  • Murder Death Kill eh? I still prefer Mission deliver kindness. xD

I love MDK, and it's sad that Planet Moon aren't doing anymore hardcore shooters with a sence of humor anymore, because we could more of those.

All of these WW2 shooters, and dark futuristic shooters are okay, but what ever happened to a gang of thieves, armed with a Monty Python esque style of humor, stealing a magical book?

  • There's so many different variations of what 'MDK' means, I just used the one I personally heard the most. Never figured out if one was supposed to be considered official.

Also, very much agreed on the state of shooters. I don't play it myself, but TF2 does seem to buck that trend nicely. Wish there was a single-player game of that quality with that kind of aesthetic.

  • i feel top!

  • Great selection from a great soundtrack from a great game!

  • EPIC!THANK GOD I PLAYED MDK!

  • Thank you!!!!

  • I've seen pics of this game, but never saw it in motion. The music is pretty groovy. I like it. :) May hunt this one down too...

  • ITS ALSO HILARIOUS(TOOTSIE-TOOTSIE

  • Yo! Cool! Thanks for the memories!

  • wha?mdk is a legend like tomb raider & others

  • @TommyTallarico

One of the all time best game soundtracks! Surreal urgent and beautiful. Perfect for the game, which incidently is one of the all time best games.

  • @TommyTallarico And for what it's worth. Jeremey Soule ain't got nothing on you!

  • @TommyTallarico Are you still making music for video games? Because you made some scores in MDK that make me weep of nostalgia everytime i hear them. Thanks for the great moments in my video game (musical) history!

  • I remember this game! Wouldn't this be great on XBLA?

  • i just love it ;D i can´t waiting untill the third part is in stores..

  • NOTHING COMPARES WITH THE CLASSICS

  • yeah right, but a MDK 3 would be very nice ;D

  • THE MOST AWESOME MUSIC EVER!

  • OMG this is the best gaming soundtracks ever from Tommy Talarico. I lover MDK's soundtrack

  • Tommy Talarico - hbahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • I played this once. I thought the parachute thing, and the physics were warped. Pretty badass, too.

  • Oh god I still have this! I loved MDK and MDK2!

  • Music composed by Tommy Tallarico! Ha! I used to love the show judgement day.

  • u mean electric playground......

  • No judgement day was a show in which Tommy and another guy reviewed games, and it was awesome!

  • Victor Lucas was the other guy. He was such a tool, lol. Tommy would bash a game and he would give it an above average score, every single time.

  • electric playground....

  • judgment day...

  • I remember playing this game many years ago. I have no idea what it was even about

  • Wow Nostalgia @ 8:50

  • Wow, this is ancient :P sure brings back memories.

  • i only played mdk 2 on dreamcast but this game sounds cool too ^^

  • It's sad that the funny ending theme wasn't included in the OST.

This game is so awesome. And the music is good, too.

  • Thanks, I love MDK one of the first shooter I've played!
