This song was the first of various parts of Sesame Street that scared me to the point of fleeing from anything SS-related for years. Yet it's hard for me to see now how this song scared me so much. I love this cute song now, I think it was overstimulating both visually and audibly for my two-year-old psyche. I'm an Aspie and had lots of sensory overload as a kid.

I think there was a similar occasion where an Anything Muppet (in the guise of an opera singer) had to sing the alphabet at a certain pitch, depending on how high or low a certain alphabet board was suspended. At the end, whoever was holding onto the ropes holding up that board let go and the whole thing crashed. Just crazy!
