I love that YG let's them go solo as well as do their group activities. Some groups don't let them go solo and release an album, like Akanishi Jin from KAT-TUN, his manager let him go solo but he can't go back to his group anymore which is just unfair. And there hasn't been news of him since. YG is very smart and even hires the best choreographers for them. He's like the best manager you could ever have.

2NE1 is(was) arguably the most successful rookie female group of 2009/2010.

You can tell they're not just another female group.

They have a list of major awards, huge album sales, and a list of big endorsements. Granted they're from a big company, but you still gotta have that X factor, that talent, that look, which they have!

September 2010 is looking damn good so far!
