  • You tube is now having a big problem with copyright, removing all videos from you tube. I wasn't sure if i should buy this video. Because this video was posted, it gave me a good idea of exactly what the video looks like. I went ahead and spent almost $100.00 US dollars for a single blu-Ray disc from these guys. Thanks for posting this video.

  • for shore damn funky band from my young teen years..damnn right..awesome stuff ..this band was the funk when i was a kid..cheers

  • Noritake's smile on this tune is very impressive.

I can tell this was his favorite one.

He must have been recollecting his high school days playing Casiopea's tunes, admiring Jimbo.

    What a great moment...

  • hmm, why is this version different than the one in the live CD? i thought it was supposed to be a LIVE cd, right?

  • They did 2 different Performances as "Casiopea vs. T-Square".

  • i see. thanks for clearing that up.

  • Yes, One for DVD and the Other for CD.

  • What an experience just to watch this video.

Music is there to play, whenever country your from

  • legends...

  • Thank you for posting it. I have been a big fan of Casiopea since 1982. I think that the band has been underrated although it has had so much potential for world-wide popularity. I hope the band will come back.

  • where bass??? listen bass..

  • T-Square Keyboardist (not on Acoustic Piano) is playing the bass part. Neither Mitsuru nor Yoshihiro are playing bass here.

  • I meant Keizoh Kawano. I didn't know his name 10 Months ago.

  • perfeito

  • すげぇな

  • if all countries would be the same as japan, then there we be no problem...

  • as japan doesn't have its problems >_>

  • very true japan like has everything they want and need and they do well in every sense of the word.

  • Japan is not all laughs and joy. Search for "Ijime: A Social Illness of Japan" on Google and read the first article.

  • This is truly some of the best jazz I've ever heard!!! Perhaps even the best!

  • 日本の誇りだよ

    casiopeaは

  • THIS IS SUCH A REALLY TREMENDOUS.

  • Go Akira Jimbo and T-Square's drummer! Your synchronization is off-the-walls!

  • second time watching this song!!

    Just amazing!!!

The sync between the Jimbo and the other drummer is awesome (srry I forgot the dudes name)

    Just amazing!!!

  • The other drummer is Hiroyuki Noritake, T-Square's own drummer.

  • The drum's are freakin nuts in this song!!!

Can't wait til I can play like that!!!

  • well said fiddlercrab, the drum solo was amazing

  • I want to see Akira dueling with Dennis chambers. Its gonna bee a blow

  • Dude the twin drum solo is maybe the sickest thing I've ever seen. Thanks for the post; it blew my mind.

  • Paardekut, if Japan is a amazing copy cats, every country is copy cats of Japan, importing Japanese goods that Japan invented, such as video deck, liquid crystal, downsized calculator, industrial robots, and so on and on.

  • Yes, you're right, but I don't think you can say that every country is copying their music and that's what I refered to.

  • No. Every country is copying almost everything from other countries, because we cannot live without having relations with others. Copying is the first step to make originals.

  • Amazing copy cat coutry? Wow! Koreans are copying Japanese TV programs, cars, and everything. Japan is the No.1 or 2 coutry of creating patents in the world and the number of researchers per capita is the largest. You know nothing about Japan.

  • Paardekut, I do not talk to you.

  • Grow up, mate...

  • Idiot? hahaha, if you say to someone such a derogatory word, you should not hope to get any reply from him.

  • Paardekut, do you know the psychological term "adhesive personality"? You should see a doctor to know whether you have that.

  • hahaha, why must i reply to you soon? I rarely see the reply comment to me in the box, because it is useless to spend time to reply to such an adhesive guy as you. Are you really an australian? I have some friends from the country. As a whole, I rarely see adhesive ppl from caucasians, especially australians. I repeat to you, "I have nothing against you. Here I replied to the crooked Chinese." Forget about my words and go back to your favorite videos. I love Casiopea. Period.

  • hahaha, you are not an Aussie. No wonder you are not. You are chinese? Alright. hahaha.

  • Wrong again.

You just keep making an arse of yourself.

  • Wrong again.

It is interesting to watch you are answering to my comment endlessly. ^o^

  • "island monkeys", "japs"...

These words reveal that you are not in normal sense. Rational and decent ppl would not talk to others if they had not done nothing adverse. As for Koreans, the more they utter these megalomaniac things, the more they are known to the ppl in the world as insane, as you prove to be here. What in the past? Today, we are creating the wealth of 1/6 of the world. No matter how hard you shout on your superiority, the numbers are proof.

  • gladly1210, in addition, in the page of video of Japanese performers like this, watch out your remarks, because Japanese are reading.

Bad remarks that you make will get us nowhere and give us nothing but adversity. Is that constructive? If you want construction, refrain from such words at least in japanese pages.

  • gladly1210, regarding kimuchi, sushi, or something like that, we have never said "they are our original invention". But, well, as you know, are there any nations in this world that are living just with the things that they originally created? Every nation has adopted good inventions from others in history. So every nation is a copy cat. Or do you want to say, "Chinese and Koreans are speciall. They have never used foreingers-invented things"?

  • they are definitely on time. its amazing. it sounds like the power of two drummers and the timing of just one. amazing.

  • Well" ill be damned! this is what im talkin bout..its goin into me fav's ppl.

  • Yamaha drums rule!

  • And they're playing Yamaha everything- keys, drums, etc.

  • Oh!! Akira Jimbo!! AWESOME!

  • Comment removed

  • Wrong, Chris. T-Square's Keyboardist covers the Bassline.

Also, In the CD Version of T-Square playing Mid-Manhattan, you can clearly hear a Synthesized Bass on the Track.

  • I don't see issei and their bassists

  • AWESOME

  • AKIRA JIMBO!!! can i have the drum score?

  • yea akira jimbo

  • Where's Issei Noro in this song?? Why isn't he playing?

  • this is from the live dvd t-square vs casiopea. in the middle part, they've mixed the guys up around. its the best live concert ive seen....on dvd. haha

  • If you thought their drumming was tight check out James Brown's drummers

  • nice drum

  • awesome drummers !!! how did they rhytm the tempo ????
