his final choice in the manga appeared as such a random and contrived choice, it was so unexpected and came out of nowhere

I always thought the following were going to end up together:

Manaka+Toujou

Satsuki+Amachi

Nishino+Tall Parfait Dude

Since usually the Protagonist and the Heroine of the story always go out/marry,

this manga didn't (don't know why). As for Nishino since she went to France and the Tall guy is there... you know...click. And as for Satsuki I thought she and Amachi would go out since they were harshly rejected by manaka and toujou but my prediction was false... did anyone thought this way too?

@BlueWaffleLover01 Well they do link up fine! Manaka/Aya are reflection of each other, which is a negative. Both don't communicate well, too dependent on the other person work, inferiority complex (display w/ Nishino and when Aya won rewards).

Satsuki/Amachi - yes they are almost alike, except sexual approaches (total opposite).

Hirose + Nishino - well duh, but it was too perfect, which equal = dull for the readers.

then i read the manga in 2 days. it's fuckin amazing. i felt all cozy. junpei and "her" are such a perfect couple even though at first i didnt think it would work out. looking at this OP, it brings back memories, but if you read the manga you'd understand why im feeling dissapointed of the intro.

I liked the series but the op is one of my most favorite in anime. They took the best 1min30 of shine of voice by jpopstarlets -dream

the full version has too much ffxxed out guitar bits and is like 2.30 too long . The colors are great and the animation was above average in it's time but it still tells a story well enough. Thanks anbu for the great subs btw!

Nishino was unexpected. I always thought the he would end up being with Toujou but its good that he went to Nishino. Something tells me that the story would have been weird if it was Toujou who had been Manaka's love. It would have been like any other romance/drama show. yeah but i like it! they explain detail in manga compare to anime.i like when nishino sneak out from her dormitory(dont quite remember,i've read long time ago) and wearing japanese school sailor uniform to meet junpei in his school trip and pretend to be izumizaka student.and they even kiss 2 time in manga. and i like when manaka give strawberry panties as present to nishino in valentines day,it really romantic and really funny,after that nishino wear in her room and blush alone.very cute scene!
