@kerryoke68 lol ok, you can adopt me then ;) And psh technicalities. But Zach is always easy to recognize, he has a very distinct face, ears, and hair. (distinct in a good way of course)
A few years back before my Mom passed away, I recorded the morning news daily until I got this on tape. I mailed it to her in time for Valentine's Day. She loved it, and it meant a lot to both of us. Love your parents while you still have them, and tell them you love them as often as you can.
I get it, but it's just a completely unrelated idea. I hate when ads don't relate. It's not advertising. I can't even remember what this ad is for, I just remember the sentiment.
@RoxyKasten I live in GA too and we have plenty of commercials! In fact, I saw this commercial on TV a while back and just looked it up to show my friend.
You don't need to be a mom to cry, you just have to have a heart! I grew up around publix the first half of my life. This ad should be an award-winner!

This is a great commercial, with the exception of the approx. 8 year old kid riding in the front seat of the car. He really should be in the back if his Mom was educated about safety. I know it's a commercial, but ALL kids 12 and under should be in the back seat. Even if it's in a commercial!
just to be clear, they rode about 3 feet in an empty parking lot for this spot and let's assume she has no air bags..for the purposes of the story. It IS an ideal made up world after all. :)
Publix bakery ROCKS!! LOVE their cornbread and rice pudding!! :-) The deli is cool too...if overpriced. Their made-to-order subs are okay but they could make them thicker. Hot bar could stand more variety but it's better than going to Winn-Dixie.
Ahh, W-D sucks! They used to be cool but ever since they rolled out their stinking "Reward Card" and then other shit hit the fan (making them close a lot of stores), they're just a has-been IMHO...besides I'd rather go to Publix or Sedano's, both of which won't make you surrender your privacy (to get a card); their stores are cleaner; better employees, etc. and you get just as good a heap of food; maybe better! ;-)
The little boy in the commercial is my son (Zach Mills). He had so much fun filming this commercial and it really makes us extremely happy the everyone loves it. Look for him in "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium".
I attended college in Atlanta so there are Publix grocery stores everywhere. When I saw this commercial in my dorm room one afternoon, I too cried like a baby. It is a great commercial to post around Valentine's Day.
Of course Publix rules the roost here in FL. (Followed a distant 2nd by Winn-Dixie) Anyway I saw this ad on Valentines' Day on TV, and fell in love with it! I'm really glad it was uploaded for many to see here. I wish I could make a cake for my girlfriend, and have that on TV. My mom doesn't like a lot of cake LOL
The look that little boy gives his Mom at the end just *makes* the whole commercial. I don't even have kids, except for the four-legged kind, but I love this.
