  • I just watched this documentary and it was great to see these guys so passionate about a sport, and also very good at it despite the problems they have faced. Remarkable story, these guys are real heroes and their country should be immensely proud of them.

  • If you think this film is just about a bunch of guys playing cricket - Think again! It's how people have the wonderful ability to fight on even in desperate times. It's about people setting goals and realizing their dreams even during political and social upheavel. It's about being proud of who you are even when the whole world has stigmatised you as being down and out. It's about rising up from the ashes - a great film about a team who represent the resilience of the Afghan people. Fantastic!

  • All in one place - filmsi.co.cc!! Action, documentary, romance, comedy and much more... Try it right now, you want be sorry belive me!! Yes!!!

  • @WhoTheGreat Hey I am just using logic not maths! :)

But I take your point, the documentary looks good as a human achievement story. I was only put off by the intro of the trailer which says they thought about some way to bring peace and the solution was Cricket! (something which is pure bunkum in my view). Otherwise I think it will be a good documentary to watch. Its just poor marketing I guess.

  • @WhoTheGreat I am not saying that if you play cricket you can't be peaceful or prosperous. I am just saying playing cricket is not a necessary or sufficient condition for peace. So saying that the people of Afghanistan brainstormed and came out with cricket to spread peace is ridiculous logic. The example of Pakistan is relevant in that context.

  • Afghanistan Zindabad......
