Yá'át'ééh............WOW! I just posted this on my families website. We are Koyukon Athabascan we are also Dine. We are called the Far North people to you. This is one of the most beautiful I have seen the art work is just outstanding! Semper Fi! Kim S
I'm white and have been fascinated by the Native American culture... This music makes the hair stand up on my neck. Such beauty and spirituality... Nothing but respect and blessings to all Native American people
Wow...was YouTubing found this...thank you, was raised very traditionally & I have just about lost my tradition, this was a great reminder that I should go back to the raised, my belated grandma use to say these words
;'( ...again thank you was very beautiful to listen to
IF THE SONG DOES NOT TOUCH THE HEART WITH MIGHTY HANDS AND STRIP IT FROM ALL DELUSIONS WHICH IS ALL SIN THEN THE SONG IS NO SONG AT ALL BUT IS THE SOUNDS OF THE UNMAKER, THE MUSIC OF THE TRICKSTER WHO DEMANDS THAT WE LIVE PATHETIC MEANINGLESS LIVES IN THE LAND WHOSE BORDERS ARE FEAR AND BRITTLE EMPTY EGO, DUST IN THE WIND! THE ETERNAL IS MIGHTY, ONLY IN THE ETERNAL SPIRIT REALM CAN AND WILL WE MEET OUR ONLY TRUE FATHER, GOD! OUR FATHER DEMANDS THAT WE LEAVE TIME BEHIND US AND WALK IN THE POWER!
Im 1/16th Native American on my maternal side. I feel a little bad because i think we as Americans should know a tiny bit of this language and culture. Native languages should be taught in schools across the US, Canada, and Latin America. Im proud of my other heritages also but becuase im living on Indian land, I think I should know something about them.
i listen to this melody every morning, I am a 39yr old loving mother of 5. My 3 oldest speak and understand dine', teachin the lil ones. Humble song brings and reminds me of my daddy's teaching. He's my angel that over sees me n my kids, and also my hero!! (first 29 navajo code talker: Nelson S. Thompson)
@DatMan0nTheMoon he said in the mountains well mke our home in the middle with the fire and a road to the door at the east, there will be consiousness and leadership also life and good things traditional, then it is what he sings, prayer will be your home, just good things in general but it's hard to explain in english.
im dineh.. wit no family but mi n mi kidz.. mi kidz dont speak dineh bi zadi. U bring hope 2 mi family. thx 4 ur voice. keep teachin mi so we all can prosper n our language cuz i belive it will save US again. da little i kno i bow 2 mi tribe. im Dineh not Navajo. U tought mi dat...thx. keep it 100..
@RezboyDesignz It's sad that NAC is in the brains. This song is solid and amazing. It's so sad that even young Navajos are subject to hate against each other in this world, where has this come from? This is a solid song, it's haunting and beautiful. Thank you, from an old man that grew up in Carson NM, during a time of no water. It's time for kids to grow up and learn of the past that didn't have hate toward each other. This is a time to come together but you all fight....So sad. what to do?
@MrTank7100 I can see the misinterpretation because the melody is similar to a NAC song, but all differences aside this song is majestic and wonderful because of the usage of the most beautiful language on this earth :)
@darkprincess4267 Dooleel means "there will be." So when you have something like "Hozho dooleel," it simply means "There will be beauty" or "Beauty there will be."
@MrTank7100 what are you talking about you fool?? NAC and DINE songs both praise the ONE great spirit, dont lead people astray i am fluent in dine bizaad.
Ado Boohooliiho yanlti'i azao yadalti'ii anii doo'bilbeeda;hozinda.
i don't see what's the big deal about the differences between styles of music. NAC, Traditional, Gospel... We all need to put away the hate and bring back the love for our brothers and sisters. That is worth arguing about.
The Yeniseians belong to the same language family as the Navajo. Culturally and genetically the Navajo-Yeniseians belong to the Mongol-Tungus group of Mongolia and Siberia. The Yenisei River basin was home to Yeniseians, Mongols, Tungusic Evenks, Turks and Uralic Samoyeds. The Yenisei basin occupies a substantial portion of northern Mongolia.
Greetings from a Mongol living in the Yenisei Basin.
My Navajo People, please remember the difference between NAC and true traditional Navajo. This song is of the NAC way in Navajo, which doesn't mean it is true traditional Navajo. There are the two Yeis standing above the hogan, they don't come out with NAC songs, only traditional Yei songs in Navajo.
this brings back memories of my cheii i would like to say thanks for sharing this, its songs like these that help us by reminding us on everything we have and lost over the years and to be thankful, so thank you very much
My nali man always told me when I am down or need 2 pray and get something off my mind 2 pray 2 the holy people early in the morning when the sun is coming up :) he said they will listen
Bless our great creator 4 gracing us each day. Providing all our needs and giving us all our gifts. Continue to touch hearts my brothers! Much luv from AZ.
dang.. i miss home.. i would be with my fam back home wakin up to peace and quite morning.. running east to greet the sun and a new day for great blessings. til the next day.

i miss being home on the reservation and kickin the dust up with my frens in arizona. ya'at'eeh shi dine'e. Cant get the eclectic marks. Got a bilagaana computer.
The Old Ones tell us that morning prayers are VERY important. Took me a long time to learn my language and no one around me to speak it with but I do sing, in my language every morning. Offer my tobacco and corn pollen.......
Beautiful, love it. The animation is so good, I can't really tell how the picture changes, but t does. I have held onto a bit of wonder at the world, and I think the video is really cool. They should do the same thing, but in the summer, not winter as I always thought the best part of my life was when, in the summer you wake up at 8 and you hear the cicadas and you can tell it's going to be a hot day, but right now the temp and humidity are perfect and it's just a monent of quiet retrospect.
This is so beautiful, I have been watching it for a couple of weeks every morning before going to work. Thank you for sharing. Here in the North of Scotland I would be late for work though if I waited for the sun to rise in winter and up at 2 am in summer.
