Hi, I leave the sanding sealer for 20-30 mins depending on the weather, just enough time to make a coffee. Then I sand up to 1500 grit. I find this gives a nice finish once polished. Good luck with your ebony bowl.

how long should sanding sealer dry? very very nice work i would like to try turning a mini ebony bowl. what grit do you sand to? 320? 800? 2000?
