  • You can tell a Wayne Isham filmed video from a mile away. He always turned it into some fast paced, weird video montage. Wish he would have just turned the camera on, and let it roll, instead of a different shot every 2 seconds.

  • I want to spend my life taking care of Rachel Fury

  • FAVORITE FLOYD TUNE

  • Rachel Fury ♥

  • I Was Present at this Show...and a SHOW it WAS!!!!

  • Pink F ...!!! Yesss! <3<3 I love them, they are more brilliant on the stage as on the studio :)

  • Ok, no I went back further, no not...

  • Is that John Taylor at 2:41 on bass? Sure the hell looks like him.

  • I was there!notthing to say more!!!!!!!!!

  • @angelo383 Me Too!!!! You Are Absolutely Right!!!!

  • Pink Floyd is best served with a joint or a hit of acid

  • I love the Omni video. The Delicate Sound Of Thunder video was way overproduced, oversized, and hard to follow (not to mention it was missing some crucial songs); this video really reveals the simple beauty of the AMLoR stage, and the close-up, non-film-friendly way it's shot makes it feel like a smaller big-theater affair, not the stadium monster it was. My one complaint: insufficient Rachel Fury.

  • Floyd is fun.

  • PERFECTION X2 !!!!!!!!!!

  • three people need one slip off a cliff...

  • DOWN THE ENDLESS HALLS OF LIVING LIVING BE_A BIT OF TULL with u r FLOYD !! XOXO G>Kimball MASON

  • omg Rachel Fury <3

  • @Renato4004

    yah, Rachel Fury...giggity giggity goo!!!!!

  • Their music is timeless!

  • I was at this show, the third night at the Omni in Atlanta, November 5, 1987. I still have my ticket stub. :)

  • @CthulhuWaitsDreaming me too,I still have my ticket!!!!

  • Roger Waters didn't like it.

  • @Zodist Why'd he leave? Because of the whole isolation he expressed in The Wall?

  • My sister saw the first of these three shows.

  • All can say is WOW MOM WOW!!!

  • wow. this song is so magical.

  • this is the only post-roger song that i can listen to. thanks for posting!

  • @8xMissOctober

O.O What about Sorrow?! Or High Hopes... Keep Talking?

  • @8xMissOctober I think "Take it Back" makes a pretty good companion piece to this song, though.

  • A restless eye across a weary room

A glazed look and I was on the road to ruin

The music played and played as we whirled without end

No hint, no word her honour to defend

  • This is one sick video! Such a great tour. All I need in life is my leather hip flask and a little Pink Floyd.

  • Quite a bold move of the Floyd to have a slap bass solo in the middle of the song but they pull it off nicely. Pure class. Top tune.

  • @desy2478 Not to mention it's Rick Wright's son-in-law doin' it!

    peace

  • Saw this tour from 9th row dead center in L.A. Got to do an audio recording of that show too! Overall went to 3 shows on that tour. Un-fucking believable shows people! God I do miss Rick Wright. R.I.P. Rick God Bless my man.

  • muy wenoooo

  • True legends never die!

  • I saw this tour at the old Man City football ground '87 magic!

  • Rachel fury (vocalist) is very beautiful in those days.

  • Rachel fury (vocalist) is very beautiful in those days.

  • @marcolias ------.And rumor has it DG was bangin' 'er then! She was (is?) soooo, so HOT!

    peace

  • @technocrash09 hahahahhaha no fucking shit, good for david, i mean, who wouldn't hahahahaha

  • @technocrash09 He was? No way! Where'd you hear that? Lucky bastard...

  • @jjobie Oh, I heard it along the way somewhere on a grapevine or two. Hell, I've been following Floyd since the sixties. Ya hear all kinds of shit over the years! *lol*

    peace

  • NO ROGER WATERS, NO PINK FLOYD

    THIS IS FUCKING POP

  • @iansusky true, this sounds like some shit you would hear when you listen to pop radio, waters made art....

  • @iansusky I wouldn't say it's pop, and if it is, it is their only song to be tagged as that. I'm a huge fan of the old Pink Floyd (post-Barrett) but I actually like this song. I think David Gilmour added all the soul to the music, Roger added the brilliance of the lyrics.

However, as beautiful as his lyrics are, his voice doesn't favour the songs which David blessed with his emotion. So don't give me this 'no roger waters, no pink floyd' bullshit.

  • jon carin is very good in this!

  • Awesome!

  • my favourite!!!

  • Ah, one of my favorites from A Momentary Lapse of Reason and this is one hell of a show. One reason for time machine, watch all Pink Floyd's shows

  • This is extasy

  • Dave is the lord of strings he is the best EVER!

  • 2 people raped themselves last night...

  • what a song omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great memories :)

  • I was there! Cool memeroies

  • I saw this tour. They opened with this song & really drew out the intro. It was f'kn AWESOME! One of those songs that's better 'live' than on CD.

  • I wish I was Polly Samson

  • @Cynporro me too!! she's one lucky lady.

  • I thought there were 3 backing vocalists on this tour.

  • This show was filmed to be broadcast in Europe at that time but for unknown reasons, the screening was cancelled!

  • Amazing sound quality!!

  • La mejor cancion de Pink Floyd... The Best Pink Floyd Song Ever!

  • Pink floyd are the greastest Band in the Universe hands down!

There i said it ... gotta problem ?

  • With Gilmour and Renwick both playing guitar, I wonder if Scott Page's guitar was unplugged. What a well meaning little goblin.

  • @DarkeningSkies1 this is one huge mess of a jam

  • love PF and Gilmour..but too many guitarists taking away from Dave and his extraordinary talent...

  • Although their penultimate studio album, Momentary Lapse is the Floyd's most dated album. Perhaps not their worst album, but just soooo 'eighties'....

  • Awesome song.

  • look at Gary Wallis getting into it. Thats how a percussionist is to do it.

  • This song really sounds " 80ish", because of both drum and bass lines, but it still real good. Sorry about my poor english!

  • I missed this tour....the regrets, One of my most favorite albums.

  • Was it love or idea to be in love????

  • @rameshk69

Was it love, or was it the idea of being in love?

    ;-)

  • It's so funny to see how young Guy Pratt looks in this video compared to him in Live at Albert Hall. David looks and sounds amazing, as always. Love Roger Waters not being there. What a dolt!

  • This isn't Pink Floyd without Waters.

  • @Zodist and this is great

  • @Zodist This looks like Pink Floyd / Flock of Seagulls. Trust me, I'm a die-hard PF fan...this ain't Floyd.

  • @burns1210

Ahah who plays guitar. drums and keyboards? You're tied to the idea that Pink Floyd were Roger Waters. Sorry I have to tell it's not the truth. Waters could never play all by myself. Floyd music developed by the contribution of each memeber of the band

  • @bobklose I never mentioned Waters. It's not like the 3 got one guy to play bass, they got a full ensemble. When Plant, Page, and Jones had Phil Collins playing drums, that was closer to Led Zeppelin than this is to Pink Floyd.

  • @burns1210

Sorry but when Page Plant and Jones got Collins for the concert of the first Live Aid their performance was so bad that they didn't allow the authorisation to be included in the dvd of Live Aid. I don't think that One Slip is a bad song or perfomance. Anyway Gilmour wrote it , not Tim Renwick, Guy Pratt, Jon Carin or Gary Wallis

  • @bobklose uh let me see david gilmour and phil manzanera

  • @mellobbello your prefered music sucks

  • @bobklose Agreed. The Live Aid Zeppelin show was HORRENDOUS, and an insult to the memory of John Bonham.

  • @jjobie

Thanks. I'm glad to know someone thinks I'm right out there:)

  • Is that Natalie Merchant on backing vocals?

  • mesmerizing....LOVE the bass solo! tony levin did the original bass track, and this guy was tight on it....ps, back-up singer babes are HOT

  • Momentary lapse of reason is a great album i love it

  • Love Dave's look at 0:50...

  • I think PF is the greatest band of all times ... Simply brilliant and inspiring.

Whenever i'm studying (i'm in college) or working on projects i listen to PF, gives me strength :) and swings me into mood.

    PF forever!

  • to matslelander; WAY TO GO,GREAT JOB. THANK YOU FOR THESE CONCERT CLIPS. THANKYOU

  • wow ... I'm the 77,000 viewer. Think I'll pour me a hard stiff drink to toast this fact. Bout the only substantial milestone going on in my life ... now that the economy is rebounding and I'm making tons of cash once again. Thanks PF for the inspiration to succeed.

  • Exelente!!!!!

  • When I read that they were taking the singles off of ITunes I bought 4 and this was one. I love it! God do I wish I were back in the day. David rocks my world.

  • the purcussions a bit much...not gary wallis...is it?

  • прекрасная песня и лучший альбом поздних флойдов!

  • RIP Rick and Syd. We'll miss you. May you be jammin' together up in heaven.

  • I love the bass solo, typical 80s

  • SUBLIME !!!!!

  • a momentary lapse of reason...so great!!!! tanks to god for pink floyd...

  • ...i will, i will, she sighed to my request....

  • My late brother and myself got to see this live. Thank you for posting. Brings back great vibes.

  • The best song of Pink Floyd EVER!

  • aaaaaa ?

    Gomes & Paseo Padre PKWY

she tosed her mane and my resove was put to the test. How can you forget death penalty investigations?

  • Pink Floyd forever. There music will live on.

  • saw them at the Omni Nov. 4th. Then 2 times in 94. got my ticket stubs matted and framed. by far the best ever. Roger Wa ters or not!!!

  • they were always amazing roger waters should have been there to live out those last 2 tours because now they can never happen again, shame how most of the greatest bands ever that came from the 70s only lasted for the 70s

  • Saw them in 94, but I wish they had played this when I did.

When it comes to live shows, there is Pink Floyd and there is everybody else.

  • David's voice....! This was one hell of a great tour.

  • So was Dark Side of the Moon but this one will always be my favorite.

  • @samara89kitten he doesn't even sing, he speaks

  • @mellobbello

you can't write or listen to, you're a fucking ignorant....do you love Madonna maybe?

  • @bobklose i do. you mean the same madonna produced by pat leonard who happened to write most of her hits, same pat leonard who assmbled momentary lapse of reason and produced roger waters' amused to death? you mean the same madonna who made two records with guy pratt who plays bass here?

  • @mellobbello I know, it's wonderful!

  • @Buszke yep great song. performed perfectly i've seen this tour, it was 1988 i was fourteen then the year after i've seen them again, it was a leg of the tour called another lapse. the first time in turin it was just umbelievable to me. my mother took me there, she wanted me to see them, she knew it would change my mind.

but this is overblown, isn't it?

  • @mellobbello You're lucky. I'm to young to ever had the chance to experience Floyd live. Wish I could have though, but I've got to settle with the CD's, LP's and films.

I don't think it's overdone at all. The first concert my father ever took my sister was a Pink Floyd show. With everything and more. She fund it amazing, though it sort of ruined her next concert experience, which was REM. She kind of epected the same from them... Hehe.

  • @mellobbello Hi I'm 61 mate and I follow this band from the beguining and David was my teacher on Guitar and in the Band I had. Just looking for his way of guitar touch you will have the force to to continue learning more and more but don't try to be David he is unic.... ;)

    Rha

  • @rhaosiris Sounds weird with the guy playing bass instead of Tony Levin playing stick. Still solid though.

  • @samara89kitten luck DX i'm only fifteen :'( theres no way i could've seen them here

  • I love those back up singers. They really made the band complete.

  • Rick Right forever.

I can't wait for the day Floyd comes back around...

  • Me neither but from what I hear that will never happen.

Rick is dead, Roger is out, David sort of said he is too old to tour, and a few other things such as no new music in 15 or 16 years.

The only way I can see it happened if Roger wrote new music for them and they got back together. Plus they got no "reason" to get back together ever again.

    Too bad...

  • Roger Waters wanted to do it after the reunion at the Live 8 Show. It was David Gilmour who said no. They were offered a 1/2 a billion dollars and David Gilmour said no... Now Rick Wright died. Maybe the 3 could still do it down the road with additional musicians.

  • Yeah, that is what I said. I said David said he was too old to tour. David backed out of the touring again, correct.

Roger was open to it if David was open to it but David is not.

Roger is still out of the group as well and always will be.

They could still do it without Rick but I don't think they will. Roger would I am sure but David won't.

  • @CFKMAN I was watching the Floyd documentary on VH1 Classic over the weekend and Gilmour said "Never gonna happen" LOL then it rolled to credits.

  • @CFKMAN I was thinking about it the other day. They could have Jon Carin do the keyboards. I don't think it will ever happen.

  • 1/2 a billion????

  • Guy Pratt is a badass !

  • Gay Pratt is the best bass player in the world, Pink Floyd the best band!! They teach how to play a rock (like heavy metal - same achords) without distortion

  • AWESOME!

  • The sax player always fuckin killed me in the DSOT videos. Gilmours still fuckin amazing as ever. RIP Rick Wright

  • @TheRJ108 Guy Pratt does a nice 80's style bass solo. And yeah, the sax player reminds me of the elf's is Lord Of The Rings.

  • im Kicking myself fornotseeingthem in dallas whwn i had the chance

  • thanks for posting

yea atlanta i bet that was a good show

  • I was at this show.... It was by far one of the best shows I have ever witnessed...

  • ty love this rachel girl

  • Rumor had it Waters had a show cancelled in NC and went incognitto to this show to see what his old mates were up to. After hearing how good they were Waters began heckling some fans, security asked him to leave. Upset he broke away from them and was found an hour later in the mens bathroom and was charged with lude behavior, apparently touching himself in a stall, when police came and arrested him. Many fans spotted and yelled out his name on the way to the squad car.

  • dude is that story true were did u here it

    peace

  • i love the album "momentary lapse of reason" so good

  • love this song!

  • yea!! she`s the reason i`m watching this video.

  • Rachel Fury y'all!

  • who's the white chorist?

  • Great song

  • he has got a goooood taste especially with women. Just look at the back stage

  • yeah the back up singers help make this clip

  • AWCSHBWQEHBWIJWB iusdfvbhqv yes I do believe that lapse is one of if not the best album of the floyd back catalogue,it is just so uplifting and deeply spiritual .

  • it was an idea : )

  • There isn't a married person on earth who can't relate to this.

  • I think this song is one of the best Floyd tunes ever. The Bass line rocks it!!

  • ...and the best music...

  • Pink Floyd has the best lights and imagery by far...

  • Was at Orange Bowl in Miami, FL this tour..we finally arrived around this song...traffic on I-95 was so bad we made it 3/4 the way through the show. What I saw was phenomenal!

  • Rachel Fury one hot chick !!!

  • love this track though live its not as slick or as fluid as the album cut....i dont think nick mason played drums on it wich is why it sounds a bit slack here but still great

  • i LOVE this song

  • and damn the lights at the beginning are so sick

  • It Carin about 15 years to de-dorkefy himself from this point.

  • this album

    is so FUCKING 80'S

theres some really good songs on it

but i can never get over how 80's it is

  • Well? It did come out in 1987. Right. Gotta admit it has a great bass groove.

  • Its the sound of emerging technology, its quite mechanized and the sound is 80s BIG, big lynn drums and synth washes. It was considered the best thing of that era and i think its just awesome, so trippy and loose-yourself. Regardless of the era its just as enjoyable.

  • yea i know, its just weird hearing that music and knowing its floyd, they went through a lot of changes before this album too so theres even more to it than the new instruments,

    but yea your right

  • why did Nick Mason shave his beard? rock n roll died the day nick mason bought a shaver

  • Got to love Pratt's face during that solo, epic

  • He's just amazing:|

He has been better for all years from 1968 to now. I start to wonder if he's REAL^^

  • Unnecessary.

  • I can't say enough about David Gilmour. This is amazing

  • ABSOLUTELY GREAT.One of the best songs from Momentary..

  • Another Fucking increadible song! I just love it! Dave Gilmour is as much of Pink Floyd as Roger! The two of them are increadible creators of music!!!! Pink Floyd should have opperated like Supertramp...one Roger song one Dave song....just like Supertramps heyday one Rick Davies song one Roger Hogson song! The best material came out this way! Richard Wright R.I.P., you were awesome aswell, a great song composer and keyboard player not to mention a great singer as well.

  • Gilmore is the man. And another man made it. Congratulations.
