They add artificial vitamin D because people with bad kidneys cannot make it. I am pasty white and have not experienced this black skin. The reason people on dialysis smell of urine is because they cannot excrete it. Like many who were not diagnosed in advance, I did not restrict my water ahead of time but now if I drink too much it stays on my person. Black people are genetically more likely to get hypertension and diabetes, leading causes of kidney failure.

Mr. Morrow's grasp of science is extremely faulty. Without dialysis, people like me would die. His lack of understanding could cause people to stop dialysis and that is indeed always an option available to us but the result is death and not improved kidney function.
I am going to call my lawyer and take this guy to court for lying!
