@42DuckyDuckers It's a Java program that I wrote. It generates a BMP file fore each egeneration, then I use another program i wrote to assemble the series of BMP files into an uncompressed AVI video. Then I add audio and compress using TMPGEnc (Tsunami MPEG Encoder).
The seed is called the Rabbits, a so-called Methuselah Pattern due its long life (nearly 18,000 generations). A description of the Rabbits can be found here:
What kind of program did you use to get it this fast?
...Or did you just use a regular program, and speed it up?
This is really awesome!
(I've written a game of life program of my own, but I never thought of using colors...)
Also, could you give a clear view of the seed?
