this post confuses me. I played lead guitar on "Don't Slander Me" on the CD release [Restless/Ryko] with this cover artwork, but this song is not that version. There was a compilation that incorrectly credited me on this version. There were other compilations that had 'my' version, such as "You're Gonna Miss Me-The Best Of Roky Erickson". I;m hoping somebody will post the version with Jack Casady-bass, Paul Zoll-drums, Mike Hinton-lead guitar. Love all Roky - just wanna get mine lol
i had a college radio show in 1988 and this song was one of the first things I played.
