bush isn't a bust. if you watched him in college he was never an every down back. At USC he had LenDale White to do the 'dirty' work. The partnership with Deuce could've been a very good one, had Deuce been a few years younger. Bush can rush, catch and is a great returner, who lets face it, was having a great 08 season before his injury.

He could become as good as Brian Westbrook, although I will admit, he is lacking a lot of tougness- Westbrook is one of the toughest in the NFL

he was good in college because he was in the pac 10...which at that time nothing but cupcakes on their schedules. That and it was not the NFL. Which speaking on that topic exposed him for being the bust that he is. Theres a reason why he's been in the league for 3 years and has yet to make the pro-bowl or anything for that matter. while he was a threat in college in NFL you get exposed for who you are real soon. And that is the case for Reggie Bush.

he was having a good season this year- in terms of all-purpose yards. comparisons with adrian peterson are absolutely pointless (i know you didn't raise any i'm just saying). Peterson is the better player, but they are both different types of players. Peterson is undoubtedly one of, if not the best runner in the NFL, however, in the passing game, he's ineffective, except for faking the handoff.

Bush is great in the passing game out of the backfield, and a pretty damn good returner. His rushing stats weren't too bad either this year before his injury, but with the pass happy Saints offense, he didn't get too many carries

That song (from Requiem for Dream soundtrack called Marion Barfs by brilliant composer Clint Mansell)can make anything look good and this is no exception. Some of those runs looked pretty good. However I don't think I'd crown Bush as the future. Too injury proned and inconsistent. Peterson looks like the real deal. Barry stands alone as the greatest there has ever been.
