This game was such a memorable part of our childhood, that a few years ago, younger sister birthday-gifted me a red screenprinted shirt of our hero standing on a girder with "Mack" below it. Not that I loved the game, mostly it's a relic of an era when NOBODY had home computers. We were lucky dad was a programmer back in the 70s and 80s, so we got a jump on the world.

To be honest, I would've been just as happy with an OSHA shirt, preferably with him waving his fists in the air.

How do you choose these games? This seems a lot like Mappy.

@beatchef I asked LateBlt to choose old games for me that I'd never played. I wanted an FPS, a platform game, something that had to do with flying, maybe an RPG, and I forget the other ideas. The only game I chose to do myself was Chopper Commando because I had seen LateBlt play it before and it looked amusing.

I remember this game on the PC as a kid (not sure it was the same name)

It was a lot of fun, the sprites were bigger, I think it was CGA (4-color graphics), pc speaker sounds, and it wasn't as fast as this port your playing.

Well, I'm also wondering at what time you guys recorded this, because you mentioned that "you'll wake everyone up" when LateBlt was laughing maniacally.

Apparently the game wants you to die when you fall off, no matter how short the fall :P

That's a REALLY good question; I have no idea! You'd think the Vandal would simply undo your progress, but no!

I'll bet you anything that's what his intention was supposed to be at first, but then the game-makers realized it made the game impossible to play.

This is a very hard game, I never made past Level 1. It is very very challenging.

This is back when electronic arts actually made good games. These days they mostly pump out generic, mediocre to crappy sports games.

The themes in this game are surprisingly easy to get stuck in your head.

Also it reminds me of Donkey Kong. :P

I must say, I think this video is still my favorite out of all the videos we did in this series, just because of what happens at the end. :D He fell about two feet and somehow got flattened.
