Well, it's kind of hard for me to tell you whether to start playing or not but if you're motivated and you'd really like to play music, I'd say go for it. It doesn't matter if you can't read any music yet. Just get a good teacher and you should be fine ;)

i love the seranade of water <3 it was always good, but i never really liked it as much as the requiem of spirit until they reused serenade of water in twilight princess as the zoras queen's theme, ever since then ive loved it!

How long have you been playing guitar? And how long did it take before you started to get good at it?

@Lorchlis I started playing approximately 7.5 years ago. After about 3-4 years I was able to play quite a few songs, but it wasn't until after 5 years of playing or so that I got more of a sense for feeling, style and how you can play certain notes, which I consider very important to get your own unique sound.

@CSGuitar89 Oh, even thought I did not post that comment I had the same question. Any tips? I have been playing for a year, I can get stand alone notes with no trouble but I have a bit of trouble with chords. Not memorizing them, I just never can get the right frets at the right time.

@starwars2078 Well, as with all things it's important to start slow and simple. Just write down a simple chord structure or song that you have problems with and play along with a metronome. You can start of at a slow tempo and by playing whole notes, then half, quarter, etc. Hopefully this will help you improve your speed :)

@Gregyson I started on a full-scale guitar right away so I can't really tell from experience but I never had any big problems getting used to guitars with one or two strings more or even with a longer scale than usual if you can even compare that. I did however, got a 1/2 scale guitar as a travel instrument and I got used to it pretty quickly.

@paulgaudinjrBCN No, I plug the UX1 into my computer and I don't think you would be able to use it with a camera... In fact I don't use the audio of the camera at all actually. I synch the audio and video later on in my video editing program.

@CSGuitar89 I was wondering because the POD 2.0 has all the sounds in the box so if it was plugged into the camera then in theory the sound should be recorded. I just wondered if it would sound good once the levels were arranged properly.

@paulgaudinjrBCN I believe it would be possible to do with the POD, but I would rather just record it with my computer since the Line 6 interface already has a usb port. I doubt the levels would be matched nicely and you won't easily be able to mix and master the sound afterwards. So if you can record with Cubase or GarageBand or something, try using that instead of just the camera.

I have to say, of all the covers of Zelda songs i've listened to, yours are the best by leaps and bounds. The difference comes in your arrangements. You turn these amazing songs into metal versions, but that's easy. It's the insight you seem to have into the feel of this music that makes you great. Anyone can pick up a guitar and learn a tune. You truly capture the essence of these songs. Minuet of Forest really feels upbeat, Prelude of Light happy. I can see the temples as I listen. Great work.
