  • Where exactly is this? Is it in the town of Chattanooga.

  • I like the train with the classic power. The closest thing to old like that ive seen on NS would be two GP38-2's with high noses. Ive also seen one of the last still LMSX painted locos parked at the same place those GP38-2's run

  • The train with ns/cr 3392 was 349.

  • whats the train exciting the yard when the double bnsfs come through

  • @JasonsStories Yard Job.

  • was it raining

  • hwats the daily bases of trains coming through

  • @JasonsStories i don't know, i have only railfanned there once. yes, it was raining at the end and the train exiting the yard when the BNSFs come through is an MP15DC switching out cars, no clue where he was headed

  • @JasonsStories The CNO&TP Second Division sees up to 54 a day, this combined with the Crescent Corridor should average out at about 70 trains a day, of course 54 trains a day on the CNO&TP was recorded in a better economy too.

  • wow you got a whole variaty of power on here, NS/ CR, CSX, an BNSF !!

    5 stars!!

  • Great catches! Especially the 4th train....LOVE seeing the ole SD40-2's leading a consist!!

  • @bagwan yup, and the high-hood GP50 topped off that whole consist!

  • Very nice Louis, you got some good catches at the cliff!

  • @TrainNut85 i know! i went down there expecting to see Dash 9s and maybe a few EMDs, but in reality I only saw about 2 all-GE consists
