The RUC endured more punishment than any other police force in the world, they seen many horrific and horrible situations and they still continued to do their job faithfully, not knowing if they would ever make it home alive. Excellent Video Joe, some great pics. I spent some of my best years as a 'peeler' served in Newry , NTH , H3 , and finished in the Scarlets. Sectarian ?? NO , some of the best lads I worked with were RCs, but then again , when someone had the balls to put the uniform on , your religion was RUC.
