Hey, I have a very strong-back hand, and an ok forehand, bt can someone help me out, I can occasionally get the ball over with my forehand smash but I hit the net alot any help?
@kitchendetail hey, ican understand your problem...when you smash try to lift the boll more and connect the boll at the higest point...do not hit the boll downwards..
watch my video, you can earn FREE money online and then buy blades and rubbers! I already earned more than 2000 dollars and I bought 3 Timo Boll Spirit ALC, soo cool!

Man Kenta's backhand.. he's really not afraid to use it like most pros do. Liqin is the best overall player in the pro besides Hao, but Kenta did a badass job in this match!
People often criticize Kenta, because he is not aggressive enough. In modern table tennis everyone plays very aggressive. Kenta can attack, but his weapon is his active block, which is great against attackers, especially penholders.
Very tough. He's competing with the current champions like Wang Hao, Timo Boll and the rising stars like Xu Xin, Zhang Jike, Dimitrij... and Of course his teammate, Jun Mizutani...
Indeed, he has alot more talent and I think he will be able to beat the chinese when he is a little older because he is a more agressive than kenta and jun
haha still? he just appeared on the world scene really within the last year. Though I guess if you followed junior table tennis you would know him for a while
i dont think Japan will ever win China, i mean Japans real good, but if you look at China, they are like machines! However, i think that people are saying alot of things abt Kenta, i mean, if he thinks it suits his style, i dont see the need why he needs to go all the way out to like make us feel that he has to attack to play good, or win. Ofcourse, you do need to attack to win, but if it suits him, and i dont think he has a problem with that, it should be perfectly fine.
i think it happened at the CNTTC (their olympic factory) few months ago, where they invited all their champions to play but under the condition they all play with their non dominate hand, {righties play lefty and vice versa} and she beat the top ten CHN men players.
ahh ok..but did zhang also played with her non dominate hand? has she ever played fairly with any of the top ranking chinese players? i saw how zhang played..she is not the fast nor really that technical... but anyways..still a great feat beating them all, haha...thanks for the reply though...appreciate it...peace yah all!
wow can i get a site where i can see this because i'm pretty sure she cannot beat top ten CHN men. i know that she only trains with state level CHN guys, that's why she's dominating, but beating world class men (top 10 CHN) is abit insane. u do realise that her reactions and her topspin are heaps slower than those of a world class man right? i seriously want to see how she can beat top 10 CHN men just to prove me wrong.
youl have to search it on bittorrent, thats where i saw it. search somthing to the tune of Chinese training center table tennis tournment of champions . its under somthing like that
no thats not true. She is insanely good, and has probably the best win percentage of any women player every, but she wouldn't be able to beat any of the top 20 men players probably
no... kenta has much more variation in his game, and he sometimes uses very powerful shots like his off the table backhand or his forehand flick kill.
Kenta is not that good now and his game does not include elements that would lead me to believe he will be exceptional when he matures. I see him lurking around WR 10-20 for most of his prime. Like Mizutani he doesn't have enough power, he is just reflects his opponents power back. This is easily manipulated tactically by the Chinese and he is not as stable as Mizutani. Watch the video again carefully - count how many points Kenta wins off his own attack and not a block.
I think you can't compare Kenta to Waldner. Kenta uses his head as his primary weapon in games, has a little bit of a passive strategy, which fits his game. He isn't the fastest, so he is not advantaged with fast play. Kenta uses a lot of effects the Chinese won't ever find on their practicing, cuz they practice regular lines. I think Kenta can become a real threat to any top player if he makes his game more consistent and gets more experience.
are you joking me? waldner was a VERY aggressive player, he waited for the right MOMENT to attack. im not saying kenta plays bad or mitz plays bad they're both good. but JAPAN will NEVER BEAT CHINA. the training is different
I can only say that japa will beat china in maybe 3 or 4 years with japnese tema conformed by kenta mizutani and seiya.
I can not explain how people say that kenta and mizutani will never beat chinese because thay block a lot and attack the less. I think the ones who say that doesnt know jan ove waldner. Kenta and mizutani can be the new waldner and reach gold medall at olimpycs.
Kenta plays like a Chinese woman player with blocking as a major weapon. Of course, he won't go very far before he is "blocked" by the Chinese top players. The best defense in today's table tennis is strong offense.
Kenta's backhand block is like a brick wall =] amazing, im expecting a lot from him. Maybe he will eventually beat Wang Liqin, but thats gonna take a LOT of practice.
Wang Liqin = The Power

@LegIsLate
You forgot Ma Long, who is still very young and quite obviously the best player for a while.
Then you have the even younger japanese Niwa Koki, which is basically a lefthanded Kenta with perhaps even more talent..

kentas weapon in a game are his serves off the bounce counter spin and block
thats his style he plays close to the table and he doesnt use much backswing so his shots are weak

yes, that explains why kenta lost to ma lin 3-4.
terrible loss.
godlikerefugee 2 years ago 22
@tyoungos
Chinese will always run around the whole centre-court to use their forehand. As long as they do that, Kenta wont need to attack too much.
EetSmakelijk 2 years ago
kenta plays a lot like hao shuai
jus right handed
tabletennisperson 2 years ago
imo kenta has to attack more. he won't win against any of chin's great players only with blocking.
