The Beach Boys is my best group singers of the sixties. I've seen Brian performing in Montréal last year: what a great show! One of the best i have ever seen.
Actually he is a little bit but not too badly. Just watched this again and realised Ronnie sings at the end "The sound of Brian just disappears"....I hope she didn't mean that :p
Both "I Can Hear Music" and "Be My Baby" were credited to composers Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich and Phil Spector. Though, to be honest, I imagine it was Jeff and Ellie who really wrote it, and Phil pulled a Landy on the credits [but I don't really know]. The Ronettes recorded ICHM first [1966] but it sure doesn't sound like a Phil production [to me]. Ironically, Carl's lovely version of it does. And, here, Ronnie does it accompanied by the Carl-esque arrangement.
God Bless you both ,,,

Ronnie's voice is so incredible. She one of those singers when as soon as you hear her sing you know it's her and nobody else.

well if you have it about trying to get brian to move i think he is very relaxed when you talk about brian...

True, but "Be My Baby" it's not really hers either! :)

Funny that she says "Brian's "I can hear music" " because the hit version of the Beach Boys was produced by Carl and Brian didn't even sing on it.
Thanks for sharing.
