Listen, this is apparently the deal with They Hunger Lost Souls(The Source version of the game). Neil Manke fell very, very ill somewhere in early 2009, and it jeopardized the game, so I'm not sure on the status, so guys, pray for Neil.

Note: 'They Hunger: Lost Souls' isn't a remake. It's sort of a prequel but follows its own independent storyline. It's only described as a prequel because it's set in the early '60s. Hopefully, it won't turn out to be vaporware.

I think They Hunger takes place in December 1989 judging by the PC Gamer magazines that say "Intel 386: To0 much gaming muscle?". There's no snow because it's somewhere in the (American) South. The French Canadian accents are because Black Widow Games is Canadian. They Hunger is the best mod ever made for HL1.

Go google search "Steam," input your CD key, and try running the mod through the Steam Half-Life folder.

1.1.1.0 is the most recent version of Half-Life that's not the Steam version of it.

Dude, all I'm reading here is gibberish. All I can suggest is installing Half-Life on Steam and putting They Hunger in the Half-Life folder. There's tutorials of that somewhere.

The other cops you see are all zombie cops. You need to play the mod to better understand what's going on.
