  • the pancreas is actually at the back and not below the stomach

  • If my genitals are itching but I don't have the other side effects so do I have type 1?

  • This is actually very interesting. When I was growing up, we were told in school NOT to eat too much sugar because we could get diabetes. I have trying to cut on sugar since then until I met my bf's father. I find it fascinating that it is more complicated than what we were told. He has got a sort of hereditary diabetes.Anyone head of that? Is there some kind of gene that makes up have diabetes. I supposed that too much sugar is bad, but ice cream, from time to time wont give me diabetes right?

  • @ChrystelleSG The school was half right, eating sugar CAN give you Diabetes, only if you eat an excessive amount though. But you can have ice cream time to time, that won't hurt you.

  • Diabetes is NOT a disease, it is a symptom of ONE cause -- Toxic Buildup! And Toxic Buildup damages the pancreas...oops, did I just reveal the real cause? OH WELL! Obesity is NOT a disease, either, but a symptom, too! Did this video just say a symptom is the cause of another symptom?? Ridiculous! Everything else is just confusion. I had T2 for 5 years until I found Super YASAi from NoMoreVitamins com -- I no longer have T2! And I lost 25lbs without even trying! Need I say more?

  • Just diagnosed with diabetes. I'm only 27 years old. :(

well that's what I get for abusing my body with sugary things. good thing I HAVE A GOOD change of it disapearing from my body.

  • @ph4455 You are super ignorant when it comes to diabetes. Maybe if you walk in a diabetics shoes, then maybe you'll know how it feels to have diabetes you ignorant jackass!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Diabetes ( aka unhealthy fat people disease) Jesus get your life in order fat America! It's not that hard! All the food you crave is because of that fatty big Mac you ate earlier. Am I being mean? Oh sorry I can control my eating and I understand how to stay healthy. I don't hate fat people I just think they are stupid and getting fat makes you less intelligent, ( they are on average dumber)

  • @ph4455 Your very ignorant.

  • @ph4455 just got diabetes and I guarantee I'm in better shape than you. so stfu I hope you get diabetes too that harsh wierd feeling of being dizzy and fainting not being able to breathe and being rushed to the hospital lby paraemedics let's see how lighhtly you diss diabetes you ignorant neanderthal.

  • @SuperNumber19 nahh i guaruntee you aren't, you know why? because you have diabetes, yes that is unfortunate and i wish you the best, but diabetes is caused by the intake of sugar over a long period of time. not by genetics.

  • I always watch this video when I want chocolate or junk because I know diabetes runs in my family so I scare myself out of it

  • mega pooh there is indeed a chance of you kids getting diabetes but i dont think you should let that hold you back because you only cause a 10%chance of them getting diabetes

  • @MegaPooh123456 Hello. You can still have an active sex life when you're older and there is no reason at all that you can't have children. If you have children, the chances of them getting diabetes are the same as any child being diagnosed, so they are at no greater risk at all. Hope this helps :)

  • @MegaPooh123456 They are wrong. You can have kids, but they will be predisposed to diabetes. That means when you are raising them, teach them the right things to eat, teach them to be healthy, and show them how much fun exercise and taking care of their bodies can be.

  • @MegaPooh123456 First Vita Plus Natural Health Drink would be a great help....

  • @MegaPooh123456 Do you have type 1 or type 2 diabetes? look up

LIFEREGENERATOR to understand how to control diabetes well. that is a good start

and there are other people like Dr. Morse which have good insight for natural remedies.

  • @MegaPooh123456 Type 2 can be nearly cured by diet, and Type 1 you will need insulin injections and you should be just fine. Diabetes is one of the best understood and treated conditions you could have. I really wish you the best of luck.

  • thank you for this wonderful video.. i learned a lot from it.. even though my main goal for watching this video is for making my report in school.. it made me realized to prevent diabetes.. good thing i don't have any.. thanks for those awesome informations..

  • There are many sites in nature cure, which give you a months' training for reversal of diabetes if you are a fresher to it.

  • MY DOC SAID THAT THERE A CHANCE THAT I MIGHT GET DIABITES IM ONLY 8

  • @misscoolshades8 Hey there - make sure you speak to your parents about this, they'll be able to give you help. You can find some helpful info on our site too - diabetes.org.uk/

  • Dear Friend,

Once you find out why diabetes comes, and what is the root cause you can get rid of it. But it requires CORRECT KNOWLEDGE, not incorrect knowledge. Pancreas needs fruits sugar and not the white sugar that is poisonous. Liver needs taste of bitter to function smoothly. Taking juices of bitter guard daily in empty stomach, for PREDIABETIC persons, helps one to get rid of it.

There is no disease that cannot be overcome. Fate can be won over with the right knowledge and determination.

  • @misscoolshades8

IF YOU DONT WANT DIABETES, STOP TAKING WHITE SUGAR and change over to other types of organic sugars that are good for the pancreas. Ask any nearby Naturopath. Conventional medicine cannot help in this and most medicines lead to heart problems. But people dont understand.

  • Respond to this video... VERY GOOD VIDEO !

  • Once you take good care of your body through naturally available herbs, such systemic and metabolistic diseases can be easily cured. Many are cured and living happily. Once the disease is not treated properly and when further offence is carried out by us thru allopathic drugs, naturally, DIABETIC RETINOPATHY and aggravated condition results. I have seen two cases diab foots ordered for cutting(amputation- euphemistically!) WERE CURED by herbal treatments. Insulin Necessary when high

  • i eat atlot of sugar and im having pains in my stomach like if im hungry but when i eat something the pain comes back. dooes that mean i have diabetes?

  • Nice video. Post prandial (Type2) is the challanging one to diabetics.

Type 2 diabetes with post prandial Hyperglycemia when the need is to control glucose surge..good work.

  • Wow! Very informatvie video!!

  • :''( I'M CRYING LIKE HELL BECAUSE MY BROTHER HAS IT AND HE IS ONLY 3 3 3 YEARS OLD!!!! AND I'M TRYING TO SET A CURE TO STOP THIS

  • Thank you so much for this extraordinary video. I am from Mexico City, and we are the #1 country in the world with Diabetics. A great problem indeed, thanks for making this video, I´ll share it right away!

  • At 3:47 it looks like the dummy has rabies

  • Only been informed today that i have type 2... slight panic going on in my head, diet n lifestyle change imminent i guess... so long my weekend blow outs!!!

  • Thank you so much. This is educational and very very very helpful.

  • Very good video. I have type 1 and have had it for 17 years. Right now I am doing a raw fruits and veggies juice fast for 60 days and it has done wonders for my blood sugars and has decreased my total insulin intake by over 60%! You can follow me on my channel!

  • Green tea may help diabetes a lot!

  • great video for patient teaching! thank you for posting easy to understand, you should post more on other common chronic illness!

  • just been diagnosed at 44 vid gives me a better understanding. Thanks for posting Just like the vid said I had no symptons.

  • Thanks very informative and education.

  • OMG I HAVE DIABETIS!

  • An excellent video. I learned a lot. I am trying to learn more about the cause of diabetes though. I was diagnosed with type 2, when I was 40. (2 years ago) I was not overweight, dont drink, dont smoke, blood pressure was always good, go on long walks everyday.... I often wonder if there could be an underlining reason to my diabetes that I should be on the look out for?

  • @shellallen1 Glad you liked the video. You mention some of the lifestyle issues that can, in some cases, mean that people are are at a higher risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. But in many cases we don't know why people develop the condition unfortunately. Do email our Careline though if you've got any more specific questions as they'll be able to help: careline@diabetes.org.uk :)

  • @shellallen1 i would recommend dr robert morse channel on youtube and his getting is book for your concerns, no such thing as autoimmune.

  • @shellallen1 One has what is known as a genetic predisposition. I also developed type two diabetes at a relatively young age and I was not seriously overweight either.

  • @shellallen1 does your family have diabetes type 2? genetic factors are vey important.

  • @NVRR40 Nobody in my family has diabetes of any type, which is why I'm confused.

  • @shellallen1 it may be an immune marker and not necessarily have diabetes. Some people may trigger the marker and others may not be affected!! Does anybody in your family have epilepsy, thyroid, coeliac or any other diseases??

  • @NVRR40 i meant to send my last message to you

  • @shellallen1 it may be a genetic link in your family line. But most is due to weight issues

  • @shellallen1 Take a look at some of the latest research on diabetes, as it becomes epidemic, and the links between it and radionuclides and heavy metals, in particular uranium and mercury. The former is circulating in the environment due to its use in warfare (depleted uranium shells) and phosphate fertilisers and the latter has been used for decades in pesticides, industrial applications and dentistry, (as has uranium dust in porcelain false teeth). Google all this and see what you think.

  • @shellallen1 Please look up the Natasha Campbell Mcbride speech at the Wise Traditions conference, she figured out how we get it!!!! And look up the human islet amyloid polypeptide. It's a protein fiber that forms cause our blood was so sticky and thick from sugar, protein sticks to the insulin emitting cells of pancreas and then we end up w/ diabetes! I searched,"how to disolve amyloid polypeptides," and it came up with

  • @shellallen1 Phycocyanin, the blue pigment in blue-green algae, actually disolves the stuf!!! Also they've noticed those polypeptides form on the braincells of althiemerz patients! HMM!! Natasha Campbell Mcbride is having results at her clinic and everybody who changes the way they eat as she sugests is kicking it,and many other illnesses too (things people usually get put on meds for). Good Luck.

THANK YOU FOR THE LESSON :

  • ok like the video it is the best explanation i have seen on this condition ,but there was no direct mention of mussle loss,i lost about 40 LBS in weight which i did not mind but i have always had good mussle ,also there was no mention of loss of sensation in the feet [mine is only mild ] overal i can live with being T2 .

purly from a personal experience [APPLE CYDER VININGER ] = a teaspoon in a glass with a flat spoon of splenda in it to take the edge off it makes my system feel better :

  • @StoryboardOptics The South Asian community are 6 times more at risk than the white community of developing diabetes and the Black African and Caribbean community are at risk 3 times more.

These communities are more at risk of developing diabetes simply because of their ethnicity make-up. Unfortunately, this is something that they cannot change. However the changes they are able to make is the same for people in the white community which is their lifestyle and choices.

    Hope this is helpful.

  • @StoryboardOptics Type 2 diabetes develops when the body can still make some insulin, but not enough, or when the insulin that is produced does not work properly (known as insulin resistance). Type 2 diabetes accounts for between 85 and 95 per cent of all people with diabetes and is treated with a healthy diet and increased physical activity. In addition to this, medication and/or insulin is often required.

  • Why do type 2 diabetes patients not recieve insulin injections ?Is it a case of second class system with preference to type I .Why is there a distinction between racial types in systemizing treatments is there really a diff between white diabetes and black diabetes ?

  • I have had diabetes almost all my life, got it at 6 I'm 14 now… wish more people would see this so they would know what my body does… and why I NEED shots… (I hate type one)

  • great video, thanks!

  • But why is it dangerous to have a high glucose level? Because it's bad for the organs?

  • @kimcheolho yes because it can cause serious damage to organs. especially the kidney, retina(eye) and the nervous system

  • Best ever!

  • I gotta cut down on eating rice cuz thts carbs

  • This is an awesome video. I'm studying DM in nursing school. We are in Endocrine system now, so i need all the information i can get from videos because i am more of a visual learner. Thank you so much...

  • very very good video!!!!

  • Finally, an easy to understand explination of what diabetes is, it's symptoms and it's physiolgy - thanks a million!

  • very nice vid and animation. Helped me a lot to understanding this concept more clearly

  • very nice helped with my biology test

  • Thank you:)

  • This is a really good video!

  • An excellent grounding and basis for discussion. Ten minutes very well spent: 8:40 on the video and 1:20 on JudithIN410's comment.

  • Used to have glucose in the urine, but the blood tests showed was not diabetic, from about 15 years old to about 35 years when got diagnosed as T2

  • Very nicely done, but I noticed one error (thrush is caused by yeast, not bacteria) and one glaring omission: Burning of fat as an alternate energy source is briefly mentioned, but there is no reference to the ketosis that ensues. The video does not address life-threatening ketoacidosis that can result from delayed recognition and treatment of type 1.
