i haven't read the book, but at the same time i would prefer someone else do the story because tim burton's movie style while at one time were interesting to see it's now getting to monotonous and he does the same thing every time i would prefer to have someone else do it and take their own spin with the help of the author.

Not read the book, but the title sounds like something up Burton's alley. Keep the faith, if they are making a movie about Abe Lincoln fighting vampires why not this.
